Poor service was offered by Darlene and Chasity. I was told they were there to help but unfortunately they are so disorganized and they don't care they are only interested in getting you money. I had a practice recital and first I was told I could have 2 hrs but than when it came to the day of the recital we were kicked out by Chasity within 45 minutes she told us her husband and kids were outside and we had to leave. Thats not all she also turned the air-condition off so we were sweating during those 45 minutes of practice. I picked the platinum plate for the day of the event than the event came and the skirts on the buffet table were dirty and skirts were wrinkled. Thats not all they were also changing the light bulbs as my guests were arriving they even left a broken lightbulb on my dance floor when I called this to the attention of the ladies they were not very nice they got upset with me because I complained. The rugs were not clean they were vacuuming at the last minute as per my request unbelievable I couldn't understand if the room was rented before my party but the room was empty all morning. This tells me poor organization and preparation. The linen they offer you are old and from the 1980s it is discolored so you must pay to get better linen and napkins. I paid for Darlene and Chasity to decorate my main table and the cake table and this was not done properly they were missing linen for my main table again poor organization and no accountability for there poor service. Thank God I had ordered from another company linen and napkins. Some of the deserts were old tasting and the same with the cocktail food was not that fresh. My cake was delivered on Saturday since the event was on Sunday they needed to keep it in a cool place refrigerated well but the cake was so dry no one could eat the cake it was hard and dry. During the party not once did any one ask me or my husband, "Do you need anything" or "We'd like to help you" they were no where to be found. My brother in-law had to look for a waiter to ask if the air-condition was on we were so hot finally someone I believe was the manager lowered the air-condition. They wanted to end my party at 10:00 I had paid till 11.30 it was fathers day and they wanted to kick us out it was a bad experience dealing with Darlene who has been there for years maybe is time for her to retire and Chasity has been there for about a year she should know better. I don't plan to do my next event there my family has done several weddings in this place in the past unfortunately they have gotten worse . I recommend you look at other places before...

At our food tasting, we initially confirmed with her that two guests could join us for an additional fee. But when we checked closer to the date, she denied that arrangement and refused to accommodate the additional guests. We faced similar issues a week before our rehearsal; she again denied our scheduled appointment, which led to additional stress and frustration. On the day of the rehearsal, her demeanor made it clear she was eager to leave, even mentioning that our late afternoon timing was inconvenient for her. Although she eventually assisted with our walk-through, her attitude was dismissive and impatient.
On our wedding day, a bridesmaid needed brief access to the bride to help with our son, but Darlene denied her entry, even raising her voice when the reason was explained. After the wedding, I addressed these concerns with the banquet manager, who later followed up with Darlene. Her response was dismissive, essentially reprimanding us for not addressing her directly, which I found unprofessional.
Darlene has experience in this industry, but her approach added significant stress to an already intense planning process. Weddings are inherently challenging to coordinate, and a supportive, organized coordinator is essential. Read moreI was apart of a wedding ceremony and reception at this venue and I was highly disappointed with the customer service by the sales person Darlene. The wedding took place on a Saturday evening at 5:00pm and the vendors and wedding party had access to the facilities starting at 11:00am. While the florist and wedding coordinator were getting the ceremony area ready the Darlene was giving tours to potential clients. I was taken aback by this as most wedding venues do not do sales during other events at 4:00 an hour before the ceremony Darlene was still parading potential clients through the ceremony and reception area that was already set up for the wedding I was apart of and allowed them to take pictures of their decor and set up. She even yelled at the day of coordinator for sitting off to the side for a nutritional break telling her she needed to go out to her car and eat because it was not a good look for her potential clients.
During the reception the roof on the front left of the ballroom started to leak heavily onto table 1. The staff was notified but no accommodations were made to move the table or place something on the table to catch the water.
For the amount of money spent, I truly expected to receive better customer service and did not expect for them to give tours during our time slot. Let alone the lack of empathy given to the coordinators for trying to have a bite to eat of their own food after being on their feet for hours.
