Jack's Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Pleasant Grove

Waited almost 15-20 minutes in the drive through for the family chicken dinner with only one car in front of me. When I got home I discovered the 2 sides I paid for were not in the bag. I went back to the drive though and waited another 15 minutes-20 minutes with only one car ahead of me. There were at least 5 young crew members up front and it wasn’t crowded inside or in the drive through. The wait time was ridiculously long just to get my 2 sides.

I usually only stop for breakfast and have a much better experience as the morning crew functions much more efficiently and succinctly. Long lines are serviced very quickly.

However, the crew this evening seemed aloof and disorganized. During my wait, 3 of them stopped what they were doing to listen to another customer who was complaining at the register, but the manager had already intervened. Another crew member was walking around folding up a cell phone charger.

No attention to detail, customer service or food orders. I saw another customer walking back inside with her food and receipt. It appeared they got her order wrong also. An employee haphazardly tossed untied trash out the back door and walked right back inside. The sidewalk leading to the back door had some black residue all along the pathway. Went there for dinner tonight, spent $40 on chicken and milkshakes. First we had to wait about 25 minutes for food, and then when we get the food home, out of 10 pieces of chicken, there was only 9 pieces of chicken in the box with the biscuits crushed on top. To add insult to injury, there was 7 breast and 1 tiny wing and 1 unidentifiable piece of chicken. We tried to call the store, but they would answer the phone and hang up without saying anything. It’s a shame that you can’t get good or even courteous service these days. Even though they said there would be a wait on the chicken, as if they were about to cook it fresh, the chicken wasn’t fresh cooked, and there should have been a disclaimer given that they didn’t have any other parts of chicken besides breast. Fine 👌😊 ENJOYED THE EXPERIENCE! I actually went through the drive thru but wasn't given the option. From my location Maps seeing I was there Thursday asked about my experience and so I obliged w/an updated review. One of the items I ordered was a large shake. No problem. The very same day later that night I went through the drive thru again and ordered another large shake. They are delicious! But guess what I was told.... They didn't have LARGE shakes... I settled for a SMALL MILKSHAKE. WHAT IN THE WORLD AND IT WAS A GROWN WOMAN WHO TOOK MY ORDER.
