I would happily give this restaurant 5 stars if they actually paid attention and hired responsible and accountable individuals. I can understand if they paid the absolute lowest to their employees but they pay a reasonable wage for an expensive version of fast food. We ordered $100 worth of food for a large group of people today (approximately 1:45pm) on a Saturday afternoon. In other words they're NOT BUSY SO NO EXCUSE! We live over 10 miles away (1 way) so going back and forth to the store is not an option. My amount spent and distance is irrelevant to the principal I'm about to make here because all customers, even next door, should never have to deal with incompetency and lack of proper management. Arby's, what are they known for? What is their iconic and historical product? ROAST BEEF AND ARBYS SAUCE RIGHT? You would never go to an Arby's and assume anything different because although they have added things over time, their entire identity is roast beef and Arby's sauce, their signature sauce for their signature roast beef. So when I order $100 worth of food, almost all roast beef sandwiches mind you, I would expect that I would get ARBY'S SAUCE WITHOUT QUESTION. I know you're thinking "well it's your responsibility to ask" and you'd be absolutely right! So I called the store in KENTON OHIO and asked the girl who answered specifically, "hey I have a huge order coming through in my name, can you PLEASE make absolutely certain I get X Arby's sauce and X mayo? The people at the drive thru almost always forget it so please make sure they don't because this is a big order". THIS IS WHAT I SAID and she responded that she would make sure and was very polite. She wasn't rude or anything so this is not on her. So someone grabs the food for us, I'm disabled so I cannot drive to get it. They, Arby's, told the person picking it up it would be more time because they had to make everything up and they'd bring it out. I assumed incorrectly that meant they would check the order (Arby's) to make sure it was everything it was supposed to be and to include the signature sauces. So $100 and over 10 miles later, they didn't NOT put just a few sauces but absolutely NOT 1 SINGLE PACKET OF ANYTHING IN THERE, NOT EVEN THE MARINARA FOR THE MOZZARELLA STICKS! How misguided are you in the handling and running of a restaurant that completely missed the mark almost Everytime on the company's signature items? No, I don't want to drive 10+ miles, 20+ miles round trip for some $0.02 sauce packets but I also want to enjoy even a little, my $100 worth of food. I shouldn't have to justify that other sauces don't taste good at all with their roast beef, I shouldn't have to justify any of this because IT SHOULD ALWAYS BE ADDED IN THE BAG, ITS THEIR IDENTITY! I'm sorry, I have given this specific restaurant many chances and opportunities, and I spend a lot of money almost every single time, far more than the average person. I don't think I will give them a single cent again after this nonsense. It's so stupid. It's one thing if they forgot a sandwich and could easily make it right by giving a credit or something but how the hell do you completely miss the signature sauce of the business as it's part of their entire identity as a corporation? How is this even made right? Give me 100 sauces when I order 1 sandwich? This whole experience is ridiculous and should never be an issue but when you hire teenagers as managers who stand around and yack instead of doing their jobs I guess this is what happens. Thanks for nothing Kenton Arby's. I fed your sandwiches to the dog and I'm ordering from a pizza place locally who almost never gets anything wrong because they have adults...
