Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Pleasanton

I will not go back to this place. We pulled up to order out food in the drive thru and was told right away it was a 15 minute wait for dark meat. Well we weren't ordering dark meat so not a big deal. We ordered 2 of the new ranch bites meals and that's it! We pull around and a car is waiting at the window already, don't know how long they have been waiting. We sat there for 20 minutes waiting! Inside is already closed so they are not busy. So we had to back up to where you order and asked about our food. The woman says oh yes it is already ready and she has it right there, okay well can we get it please? She says oh you have to wait because there's already someone else at the window. Really????? First of all anywhere we have ever gone they ask you to pull up if your food is going to take a little longer. And 2nd how long has my food been sitting there ready? They are going to make me take cold food??!!! We left didn't wait any longer! I'm trying to figure out if they told us it was a 15 minute wait for dark meat and then we ordered, however long that all took and then we pull around and the car is already at the window waiting for however long they have been waiting and then we are waiting behind the car for 20 minutes, what the heck did they order or what where they doing inside if dark meat was a 15 minute wait? What's sad is that we live in San Antonio but right on the edge so we prefer to go to Pleasanton. But this place really sucks! And of course it won't let me post without adding a rating so that's why it has a star otherwise I would give them...

One cup of fresh sweet tea, you had one job Church's, ONE JOB! I ordered a large FRESH sweet tea and my lips were christened with a foul day old brew. You know when brewed sweet tea is fresh and when it isn't. I was very nice, went back to the counter and asked for fresh tea. The woman manager told an employee to make fresh tea and bring me out a fresh tea. Problem solved, right? Wrong. We waited.....waited.....nothing. I went back and asked for a Coke instead, was told to pour out my tea and get it. I was so mad that they had not followed through with what they said they would do, I poured it out and trashed my cup. I work hard for every penny I spend, I asked for my money back. I was then told by the general manager "oh, you want fresh tea? We have some here." Whilst pointing to where the tea wasn't. :-/ It would have been good customer service to have clued me in instead of wasting my time waiting around.

Tea is a luxury for me, I didn't want day old tea, I didn't want Coke,...

I been going to this place for years,and they were always polite,kind,attentive,and had fast and great food. I went recently and placed my two orders,for two small meals,which came out in a decent amount of time,but I noticed a lot of the worker are new,and not the past workers. Well,I paid and got my meals. However,I decided to eat outside this place,but when I opened my meal box,my smashed potatoes were missing in the box,and my soda was another kind and a diet kind,yuke! When I went back through the drive through window,it was a different worker,and I explained the situation,which the lady made a smurkie face and said,is that all,and gave me my small container of potatoes. Please!,check your bag of goods at this place before you leave the drive thru,or you may have to deal with cocky,smurkie,and very bad mannerism individuals,that should not work in places like this,until they go to grow up to be a good...
