I placed an order and the estimated time for my food to be delivered was 10:20PM. I waited some time before trying to contact the store or DoorDash but when it was 11:10PM i called the restaurant because the app did not let me edit or cancel my order it only gave me the option to call the place. So I did, the first time the man on the phone told me was "we are busy, orders are taking up to an hour, your order will be ready soon" I told him I under but that I had already been waiting OVER 40+ min for my order. Due it was supposed to be dropped off by 10:20 and it was already 11:40. I asked if I could just cancel my order since it wasnt ready and they were busy, I wanted to long and I honestly didnt want the food anymore. I understood that I would still be charged a certain amount. The man on the phone freaked out on me and told me to stop being complicated. I the. Got upset at how this man spoke to me and told him I was going to contact DoorDash to cancel my order. He yelled at me and told me I was a complicated customer and to never order from them agin if I canceled my order. So I told him thats fine, I will cancel my order and he said "ok bye never order from my restaurant again" and hung up. 15 min later the food arrived ar my house but I was on the phone with DoorDash, I explained the situation and the Custer support guy apologizefor the inconvenience I had with this pizzeria and offered me a refund. I told them I didnt want to food and if they could get in contact with pizza d Roma. They were very helpful, in the mean time the pizza guy was blowing my phone up and banging on my door to get my food. They left and took the food, and I got my refund, thanks to the door dash customer service person. Never ordering from pizza d Roma they are rude and...
Read moreFirst time ordering here and it was a great experience! My boyfriend and I were searching on google/doordash/grubhub for a good pizza place that was open at 930pm in the area. Not many places were open, but this place was! We were going to order through doordash/grubhub and found out the prices were jacked up by an extra $20 in fees. So we decided to call the pizza place itself to figure out the prices and how much it would be to pick it up ourselves. The man who answered the phone was VERY patient with us as we asked about prices and totals.
We decided to order an XL regular pie, cheesesteak, and large fries. (Doordash was about $50 total and in person was about $30). The pizza was very delicious! All the ingredients worked so well and had us wanting to eat more after we said we wanted to stop. It was the kind of pizza you want and search for for a late night snack. The cheesesteak was alright, it was good but not great. The fries were good, kind of bland, needed salt and ketchup. But we didnt care, for the price we paid and the food we had eaten, we would go again.
We definitely will try the wings next time, we heard they are known for the pizza and wings. Pizza...YES, wings...we...
Read moreWould like to start off by saying i am a Pizza and Hot Wing connoisseur. I have eaten many pizzas in my day as I'm sure many of you reading this review have. I heard of this pizza place from a coworker recently and decided to try them out. What intrigued me most about the information i received about this place was that they didnt serve any pork! NO PORK what so ever. Growing up in New york and having a variety of places like this seemed to interest me that a small pizzeria was available in this part of New Jersey. I finally got around to ordering the pizza which was half beef pepperoni and half beef salami. Anxious to taste, i was very surprised that it lived up to the expectations. Very pleased with the freshness of the toppings used and taste and flavors of the pizza sauce. The pizza tasted like it would be perfectly fine plain which is a testament to how good the pizza was. I have to say i will be an ongoing customer with this establishment and wish great things for them. Will be trying some different things from them soon. Maybe wings which is my favorite of all. Hopefully they can live up to grandiose expectations i have for them when it comes to...
