Main Event Custard — Restaurant in Pleasantville

I have been frequenting Main Event since I was a child. But, unfortunately, during my last 3 visits, my orders have been wrong and usually by the same young lady. Today was no exception. When I returned to the window for her to fix her error, she was extremely rude. I'm old enough to be her grandmother and she pointed telling me to put the order that she messed up in the trash "over there!" My son ordered a turtle sundae with dry walnuts because we are allergic to peanuts. She insists he asked for peanuts and dry walnuts. A kind young gentleman intervened and made my order all the while she's inside yelling about the order. He asked if I needed napkins. She chimes in they already got napkins and slammed the window closed. Mr. or Mrs. Business Owner, while I'm really appreciative that you hire our youth to work your business, I do have concern that some of them may damage your business too. I'm hoping that they will lean better customer service and listening...

Main event Ice cream has great variety and delicious ice cream. Family and I have been buying ice cream here for over 15 years.

Unfortunately we have had so many issues with staff overcharging us for our order. Not $1 or $2 but $10. I want to believe is a mistake, but it’s not the first time that this is happening to us, or anyone else.

They don’t give you a receipt so you can’t see what you have been charge for. Yesterday we my husband ask for the prices of each ice cream he was getting. Like I said he was charge $10 more. The other time the girl forgot to give us or change and as soon as we reminded her she said, oh I thought you forgot it. It was $12 change. Hmm no I didn’t not forgot my change. Sometimes buying 2 ice cream are more expensive then buying 5, why ? Because they charge you whatever they want and will keep the change...

My family and I have been to this place for years the young employees are very nice and respectful I would like to put 5 stars if it Weren’t for the prepotency and disrespect to the degree of dangerous actions, of those in charge of this place, this afternoon, as usual I went with my children, and this person arrived at the place with a brown truck entering at high speed no matter what people there, a few inches away from me, passed by and without any regrets the disregard was made, I asked the boy who was attending to who it was and he told me that he was one of those in charge, he did not want to give me the name, he just told me that the owner would be there the next day from 12-2 pm, I would like to go to at least get fired, he does not deserve to be...
