Far and away the best pizza in the area... maybe the best I've ever had. In verona, for a couple years we had Sunseri's and from a grandson of "that family" ... yes, it was incredible. Since they're not both around together, it's tough to compare. I've had a few slices in NYC and italy that were really good as well. Now, the best option in the area is Lelulo's. hands down. Sadly—or perhaps luckily—we're outside of the delivery area, but it's well worth the little drive. if it was close enough for delivery, we might eat it way too often and that wouldn't be kind to my waist.
Bonus points, Patyn, the owner, offers gluten free options (which my son requires) and does a great job preparing the kitchen for prep with very limited chance of cross contamination. (let's face it, I'd never expect any pizza shop with flour dust and dough flying to be perfect, but they do a great job) ... my son loves their wings, their gluten free pizza, and the special gluten free cheesy bread sticks she'll make for him. honestly, you wouldn't know they were gf if you weren't aware ahead of time. If you need GF options, do call ahead so that they can prepare both the GF dough and the prep. we usually call early in the afternoon if we plan to dine in later that night.
Sweet sauce is the way to go on pizza (and meatball hoagies), IMO. we've tried all but one specialty pizza so far and will likely go with that next time. people rave about their own recipe hot sauce. italian hoagies have great quality meat, and the garlic knots are killer as well. bonus, if you're dining in and they're trying to create a new menu item, you might get a sample. I can't wait to try the new doughy-meatball things.
Staff are all friendly, so eating in is always nice. We often gather families from my son's hockey team after practice and they accommodate 10-20 people in the dining...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Lelulo Pizzeria, and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the friendly and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for a delightful meal.
We started off with a side salad that was fresh and packed with vibrant flavors. The ingredients were crisp and perfectly balanced, making it a refreshing and healthy choice. As for the pizzas, they exceeded our expectations. The small plain pizza had a thin and crispy crust, providing the ideal foundation for the delectable toppings.
The large pizza we ordered, topped with bacon and pepperoni, was an absolute delight. The combination of savory bacon, zesty pepperoni, and the perfect amount of cheese created a mouthwatering medley of flavors. The crust, once again, stole the show with its thinness and crispiness, adding an addictive texture to each bite.
What truly impressed me about Lelulo Pizzeria was the exceptional customer service. The staff members were incredibly friendly, attentive, and eager to ensure that our dining experience was memorable. Their genuine warmth and enthusiasm added a personal touch to the already fantastic food.
I also appreciated the beverage options available. Lelulo Pizzeria had a nice selection of canned soft drinks, catering to various preferences. And to my delight, they even had the famous Turner's tea, which complemented the meal perfectly.
Overall, my visit to Lelulo Pizzeria was a definite win. The food was outstanding, with a thin and crispy crust that made each bite a delight. The staff's friendliness and attentiveness made the experience even more enjoyable, and the beverage options were a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend Lelulo Pizzeria to anyone in search of a memorable dining experience filled with delicious pizza and...
Read moreSo we tried this for the first time about 2 months ago on a friday night. We ordered take out and they said, give us 45 minutes. About 50 minutes later, I arrived to pick up our food and they said it wasn't quite ready yet. No problem. Well, it was about another 45 minutes until I finally received our order. Most people would complain and I saw others waiting that I could tell were not very happy. I on the other hand, sat patiently waiting with a smile on my face as I knew it was a friday and expected the wait by the amount of customers coming in and out. We ordered 3 different types of specialty pizzas, a hoagie and I believe a stromboli. It was all phenomenal! The next day I saw on Facebook that it was the busiest night they ever had! Kudos to all of the staff for killing it! Last night, 3 of the 5 of us dined in. What an amazing staff you have and all of the food is amazing! We had a meat lovers pizza, 2 different pasta dishes and garlic knots! The pasta dishes come with a huge side salad that was loaded with fresh vegetables and lots of cheese and a huge piece of homemade bread! The garlic dipping sauce is the best we've ever had and the sweet sauce on the pizza is out of this world! Job well done to all! We will definitely be coming back and look forward to trying more...
