Anthony's Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Plumsted Township

Their food is usually good but they can NEVER get our delivery orders right! It takes at least 2 hours for us to even get our food delivered (we’re only 10 minutes away). And when the delivery guy finally shows up there’s always something wrong or missing from our order. Tonight the food was cold, we were missing broccoli on our white pie, the “stuffed mushrooms” that were ordered came as fried mushrooms, and they completely forgot my husband’s Stromboli. Almost another hour went by before my husband called the restaurant to politely check the status of the Stromboli and you can hear a gentleman in the back yelling “it will be delivered when it’s ready“. Not our fault they messed up our order and now it’s been about 3 hours or more since the original order placed!! Meanwhile the poor girl on the phone is trying to be polite as possible. Definitely a no go! This is our third and final time ordering. My son wanted something menu-specific, so I ordered. Pizza was delivered with no slicing, toppings on the side of the box, crust folded over, completely mushed together and with no flavor. An "order" of wings was 6. Six very small, fried beyond edible wings. The girl taking our order was super sweet, but did not specifiy that there were different sizes of wing orders and the menu online doesnt state it either. Son's cheeseburger and fries were both RAW. (That might explain the rapid delivery time). We ordered around Christmas for the first time when family was visiting. This place use to be great now it SUCKS how can the owener of the place mess up on not just was the 1st order wrong so was the 2nd one. I order a medium SWEET ITALIAN SAUSAGE PIE FIRST ONE NO SAUAGE ,2ND ONE HAD THE STRIPED SAUAGE NOT SWEET CHUNCK. AND THE PIE WAS NOT DONE CHESSE & SAUCE SLUDE RIGHT OFF THE CRUST, IF YOY WANT TO CALL IT CRUST. I WALKED OUT CRYING IT MADE ME MAD & SO UPSET I COULDNT TAKE IT. HOW COULD HE LET MY HUSBAND PAY FOR YOUR DAM MISTAKE. WELL LET ME TELL YOU ANTHONY YOU'LL NEVER SEE ME IN THE AGAIN. YOU WHERE TO DAM BUSY TRYING TO GET THE PHONE TO WORK BECAUSE YEAH I CALLED GOR 15MINS & GOT A BUSY ANSWER. THATS NOT HOW YOU TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS.
