Beware.....My husband and had dinner here to make sure we were happy with it before booking for a repast. The food was delicious so we booked for 50 because as anyone knows, you'll never know how many people will show for a repast until they arrive, therefore I gave a rough count of 50 people. When we arrived 5 tables of 10 were set up. As people were arriving the server asked how many people we were having, I told him I had no idea until everyone sits but to set up one more table just in case. The server pressured me for a head count while guests were still arriving. He would not accept my answer to wait until everyone was sat. He argued for a number, I said fine, let's estimate 60. He said ok, we'll cook for 60 and you bring home what we don't serve (turned out I had less than 50 people). At this point I was annoyed. The Calamari was delicious, most of the food was good, however not enough at each table (I had to request more) and the mixed veggies that came with the meat for the main course was as if they flavored a frozen veggie mix bag (cheap and not fresh). I paid $200 extra for cappuccinos that were barely warm. The servers "rushed" us being it was Valentines Day. I understand they must have had reservations but omg, don't put your fork down...they'd grab your dish instantly. I had to ask him several times to leave the food on the table as we were hours away from a dinner rush. When I got the bill, they charged me for 70 people. I couldn't deal with this while morning my dad's death so I paid the bill and left. A few days later I called the manager, he said that's the number I gave the server which was completely false. He said he would speak to that server and that I'd receive a call back and maybe the server would give back $100 of his gratuity....Really? I definiately got scammed into paying for 20+ extra people than what I had attend, and I didn't care about bringing food home. What a waste of close to $1000. If you chose to use this place for a repast, underestimate your head count or you'll be stuck paying for people you don't have. A good restraunt can cook for a few extra on the spot if they need to. I will not be...
Read morethey have private parking, drive here, they don't sell alcohol so you don't have to worry about that.
this is a Byob spot, I am not sure if they charge a fee for bringing alcohol.
There's a 5 dollar surcharge if u wanna share a meal??? yes! its on the menu! if you order an entree to share you will pay the entree 5 dollars more expensive..... this is very ridiculous to me.
The garlic bread and focaccia they serve pre meal is pretty nice and warm. these were for sure positives of not so many positives in this place.
The service is pretty bad vey slow they seem to be understaffed for the amount of people they had eating here at the time we came.
the decor is nice and all but so many issues with the service and food, not even worth it.
This is the home of the no creamy sauces! all the menu plates do not have creamy sauces, you need to actually ask or the sauce to be creamy, and I think they only have Alfredo for a creamy option, I am sooooo confused for a lack of better word.
MUZZARELLA FRITA- pretty nice and large appetizer I must say, the mozzarella was not very well heated all the way through and the inside was still very hard, it was not a oozy mozzarella.
EGGPLANT ROLLITINI- it was ok, a bit hard to cut through and I was confused as for why it was that hard since the items there should not be hard to cut, but it was ok and tasty.
MUSCLES- they were tasty, some of them were very sandy so I am not sure how well they were cleaned before serving
SALMON BISQUE- what a disappointment! I thought it was going to be a creamy bisque but no! house of non creamy tings, this was a regular water like soup with chunks of salmon and potatoes, I did not like it at all.
LINGUINI WITH CLAM- I requested the sauce to be Alfredo, the pasta was tasty, a little too salty but it was ok. but just the pasta is not worth the time to come over here and have dinner.
I will not come...
Read moreMy son and I visited Ninuzzo's yesterday. We haven't had dinner out since February 4th. I am so happy that we chose this place as our first dinner out in 4 1/2 months. Very inviting outdoor seating. You pull up the menu on your phone. The waiter came out and stayed probably four feet away from us wearing a mask and gloves. By the way it is BYOB. Waiter was wonderful! Brought out wine glasses for the bottle that we had brought. Everything looked very clean. waiter comes to your table to drop food off work pick up dirty plates but then steps immediately back. They definitely adhere to the social distancing guidelines. All of the food was absolutely delicious. The bread was definitely made fresh right there. Soft on the inside crunchy on the outside. They had made slits in the top of it and drizzled a little garlic butter and oregano inside. We got the deep fried breaded mozzarella tower appetizer. Plenty for two people. I had the house salad with the house dressing đ my son had the chicken orzo soup. It tasted absolutely homemade. I had the shrimp scampi. Pasta was Al dente the shrimp was done perfectly. Didn't taste fishy at all tasted fresh and was cooked really well, not at all rubbery or chewy. I can't remember what the name was of what my son had but it was like a veal parmesan. Breaded veal, it was very tender and crispy on the outside. There were layers of prosciutto and mozzarella on top with the sauce that was absolutely delicious. I really can't say enough about this place.I'm so glad that we chose it after being in lockdown for four and a half months. The prices were extremely reasonable. The whole meal was $57 and that included the tax. I've gone to plenty of places and spend $57 or more and had food that you know it was not prepared from scratch or fresh. I was so surprised with the meal that we had at this little place in Cream Ridge. I highly...
