Twisted Steaks — Restaurant in Plumsted Township

What in the twisted steak is going on! This place is a gem! Let me start with the service. The staff is amazing. So unbelievably nice and sweet. You know when you think you you’re a regular or known the place for years! It gave me that vibe and I was here for all of it. Now the food! Boys, girls, and they/them’s the food. Now for this boy who is watching his shape. I made the executive decision that day would be my cheat day and boy was it worth it. I had the twisted burger with mushrooms and onions and the cheese fries. Let me tell you when I say fresh and worth the short wait. The wonderful lady, who’s name escapes me, so generously brought our food nice and wrapped up, like little silver nuggets of goodness. At this point I stopped paying attention to the folks around me. Like when you use the blurred feature on your phone. As I peeled back the foil I started seeing gold. Melty, delicious, gooey, cheese coming out of and saying hello. Then you see that juicy, well prepared burger being hugged by what I can only describe as the best pretzel buns I’ve ever had! The salty. My work had them bring their food truck for us. I ordered the cheesesteak pretzel and cheesesteak egg rolls. The pretzel was very warm and chewy cut perfectly down the center filled with the steak and cheese. It was also cut horizontally for easier handling. Overall this was a really tasty meal that I recommend.

The egg rolls tasted really good. My complaint about them though was when I attempted to lift them out of the carton the roll stuck to the carton and ripped. This caused my egg rolls to spill down my hands making it much harder to eat. Taste wise they were very good. I had a side of their sweet sauce to go with it. I would recommend only using a small portion of the sauce as anything larger overwhelmed the taste.

The staff were very happy and helpful. I placed my order and was immediately given my food. My coworkers who had to wait only wait about 5 minutes tops for their food.

Only reason I rate a 4 is because I do feel the price is slightly higher than it should be. Could be due to the food truck but unsure. Overall highly recommend...

Ive been to the food truck several times and had a unique spin on a cheesesteak (it is hard to eat without the center bread scooped out) but very tasty. This was the first time in the store location in my hometown, there was a little mixup with my order not being ready because there is a phone number mix up on Facebook and the website but when I go there the situation was handled very professionally especially by the younger gentleman working the counter/grill and the owner was challenged by some of my comments :-) however it was handled like it should be and I walked away a happy customer. I tried the pretzel burger for the first time, VERY GOOD, (the pretzel roll was a little salty but I guess it is supposed to be that way). I will def be back to try more, good local food served by good local people! Get some pretzel snacks! ( Soft pretzels bites with cheese or pretzel bites with cinnamin or chocolate for desserts, I would stop by just for that! Thanks for the great lucnh today, I appreciate what you did to fix...
