Maureen's Cones and More — Restaurant in Plymouth Township

I've been going to Maureen's since I was very young. They always give you a huge amount of ice cream in their cones. I would recommend getting a small because of how much they give you a small it's like a large and a large just like an extra extra large. If you don't want ice cream dripping all over you then it might be best to get a cup which is also an option. And if you want to get your furry little Pooch a bit of your ice cream you could get him his own vanilla ice cream with little doggie biscuit in a bowl. You can have a cookout without buying all the meat and the hassle of cooking it it yourself they have hot dogs burgers and other products. They have a few benches on each side The Overlook the creek. And if you go at night they have lights so it will still be fun and you can enjoy yourself with the summer heat. Parking can get very crowded sometimes as Maureen's has been really getting a lot of business lately. So as you can imagine the line is quite long and sometimes goes all the way out to the road. So if you are going to Maureen's I definitely recommend to have some time in case your on a busy schedule cuz if you are you might end up waiting for a bit. But as you can tell I've been here many times and I would definitely recommend it they have many different flavors flavors of ice cream and they have special ones that they only have for a certain...

I regret to inform you that I have observed several instances of concerning food safety practices at what was a part-time job. 🤢 Despite my 20+ years of experience in food safety and management, it seems like these practices are not being followed. 😱

Most recently, the manager (a sister) dropped a hot dog on the floor while making an order. 🌭 Instead of throwing it away, she picked it up, put it back in the fryer, and served it to the customer! 🤮

This is totally unacceptable! 🚫 😷 All employees should get proper training and follow strict food handling protocols to keep our customers safe. 🛡️

And let's not forget about customer service. 😡 They think they're always right and never make mistakes. If you have a problem with your order, be ready to be treated like dirt. 😤 The prices are crazy high, and the products are not even that good. 💸👎

*edit Since my review, I have been threatened, bad mouthed to many friends, and completely disrespected. It's a shame the lengths some people will go to to hide their behavior. I post many honest reviews, good and bad. They were not singled out! This is an honest account of what transpired while I was there.

This was a mess. It's bad enough the lines stretch across their parking lot. I happened upon Maureens, this past Sunday, Sep 14. My buddy mentioned they should be closed. I was happily surprised and pulled into the parking lot, which only has 2 other cars. I stood in line, 3 feet behind the 2 ahead of me. I think it took 10 minutes per customer. A Mother and her toddler simply walked up, and got directly in front of me. Then, another Mother/child did the same thing. I even had a line behind me. These two young moms, with kids in tow, just didn't even care they were stepping in front of others who had been waiting. It's bad enough cars are whizzing behind, only feet away. This place is the definition of over-rated. The prices are sky high, the employees are cheap child labor, and the quality is sub par. I would suggest saving $50 for a family of 3, and heading to McDonalds...
