ROX 52 — Restaurant in Plymouth

My wife and I have always enjoyed the people and food here, but today absolutely sucked between the food and the service. It all started when we ordered the appetizer, now I’m not sure when this has changed but when you order an appetizer it’s supposed to come out well before the food does, thought that’s why you order it then tell them to come back so you can decide what you want to eat. Upon waiting for the appetizer to come out the server came over to see how everything was, wait what? We don’t have anything yet!! So it comes out and about 3 minutes later so does our food, I ordered a baked Italian sub which came out no dressing, no mayo nothing just a very dry sandwich. My wife ordered the sausage sub with sauce, hers came out looking amazing meat wise but hers as well was dry as well except the bun was soggy due to the grease from the sausage. I’m not sure how 1 place can change so dramatically in just a couple months since we were there the last time. I apologize Rox 52 but we will not be back. You spend 55 bucks you expect to either be full or take food home that can be eaten later, nope but the dog enjoyed half my sub and the other half of her...

This is one of my favorite food spots in this whole area! I have never ordered a single thing on their menu that wasn't delicious. My first time coming here we did the pizza thing and discovered some absolutely Fantastic pizza! It reminds me of the pies I ate growing up in NY, foldable and scrumptious! I've gotten a pasta dish almost every visit since because I can't get enough! Their vodka sauce is my favorite, and I've added chicken and meatballs which were both also super good. Everything here is tasty, down to the ranch dressing. The atmosphere is really chill and the people who work here are the nicest I've encountered. I called to make a takeout order the first time I called the lady couldn’t hear me so I hung up and called back the second time and it took about 20 minutes to order 4 hoagies and a pizza they repeated everything back to me to make sure the order was correct then proceeded to put me on hold a man came back to the phone I asked how long it would take he said it’s 40$ bye then hung up on me he never told me how long or even asked a name for the order. I went to pick up my food my plain hoagie had mayo on it and my tuna didn’t have cheese on it like I ordered.
