Absolutely disgusting behavior. My family went to visit this bbq restaurant and my mom had ordered a bbq sandwich, the food tasted good, but the meat was too much so she took the top bun off and was eating the meat with a fork. Mid bite one of the owners walked up and told her that “if she didnt want the bun she could’ve just said so” and that “they weren’t a corporate business”. HELLO?? We paid for the food and she wasn’t even done with her food. Not only this but the owner went to grab her husband, he came out a began TO SCOLD MY MOM AS WELL?!? Absolutely insane behavior. This is a great little restaurant owned and operated by a super cool couple. They're so nice! However there's a roll reversal, the man's in the kitchen and the woman's out front and it works perfectly. The ribs are fall off the bone delicious and they have three different kinds of barbecue sauce to choose from. The coleslaw and baked beans are homemade and are delicious. We also loved the mushrooms, french fries we're super good and the okra. Our favorite meats were ribs, the smoked sausage is to die for and the pulled pork. Thier hamburgers are the best in kansas! A nice thick juicy patty that is as big as the brioche bun it's served on. They are closed Sunday Monday and Tuesdays. In a quaint and homely little restaurant, I had a wonderful dining experience. The staff was quite pleasant and personable. The Po' Boy sandwich was delicious and well portioned. The Okra was spot on delicious. Although, personally I would have liked a little more crunch on the okra. The fries were exactly what I was looking for in the BBQ setting.
