For years I’ve passed this place, years, never went in, even before I lived in Florida and would visit my in laws , would pass it, see it, even think it was kinda neat but not even thought about finding there. Tonite I decided that I’ll give it a shot, went with my whole family, in total 9 of us. Now we’ve been to most of the restaurants in the area and sure there’s some good stuff around but this place was really cozy, the atmosphere was very pleasantly curtailed, there were lots of small details, some cliche, some kitsch, some completely out of place but it all worked, if I was going to film an Italian restaurant this would definitely be one of the locations I’d consider…besides all the scenery, the brass tacks…the food. Good, home style like Nonna made, even if you’re not Italian and don’t know what a Nonna is, it will bring you back to some hill side villa in Tuscany and a memory of a past life you didn’t even know was there, good stuff, specially the pizza. Now to my favorite part…the service, felt like I was at an aunts house, excellent, felt very at home, very familiar even though it was our first time there…the prices were, my god, so reasonable, when we got the check I was sweating cold because my wife had told me from the very beginning to keep my pants on tight because we’re inviting…comes the bill…I don’t even wanna know I’m just putting my hand out with my card and be just like “take my money” but then I opened my eyes and saw the check and I wanted to cry…I seriously wanted to cry, I thought it was 1990…I thought I had time travelled to a time where prices were reasonable and fair for the food you get…but honestly it was better than that because the food and service was worth a lot more but I was very happy with the whole experience, left our waitress 30%, she was excellent, good place to go with the family for some home style Italian. Good place.
