The "Best" Mexican restaurant in Ponca City The restaurant serves generous portions of delicious Mexican food. The quality of the food and the service has been consistently very good over the last 4 years we have eaten here. We drove up for lunch today and enjoyed the carne asada and the chiles rellenos.

The meal comes with the typical chips and salsa. Hot salsa is available on request and is recommended. The chiles rellenos were large and covered with an excellent sauce. The carne asada was two thin sliced steaks, grilled, cut perfectly (cross grain) and covered with grilled onions. The onions on the carne asada had been sautéed in a mild adobo sauce that went well with the beef. The beef was thin enough and tender enough that I could cut it with a table knife. Both meals came with a generous portion of rice and beans. The carne asada came with guacamole. The guacamole was a blended with sour cream. It was good, but I prefer it without the sour cream. I also ordered “a chili toreado” but the waitress brought out a small bowl with 3. I enjoyed them all. The service was great. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. So, if you are in Ponca City, this is a very good Mexican restaurant. Enjoy it and be sure to order a chili toreado to go with your meal

I was visiting from out of state and ate here the previous week, mid day, which was pretty good except that chips had a weird taste. Maybe the oil needs changing. We had great service. We came back the following week for an early lunch. I ordered steak fajitas, which were tough and had few vegetables. Two of my tortillas had big spots of mold on them and my margarita was the worse I ever had. It was undrinkable. Maybe people in this area don’t know any better but trust me, if this how they’re made all the time, they are not good margaritas! I told the server and he asked if I wanted another one. No, I did not. It would come from the same batch this one did. I asked if he could take it off the bill. He got the manager, who told me he could not take it off the bill because he could not reuse the alcohol. 😳😳 I’m sorry. What? And he repeated himself. I’m trying to process exactly what that meant. Do they reuse otter items that are returned? 🤷‍♀️😬 He said he could get me another one. Again, how would that be any better? He said I ordered it so it’s on me if I didn’t like it. 😳 This is not the way to handle a situation and not the way to talk to anyone. This is bad business. I will not be back in future...

The food was absolutely delectable! Prices were spot on for the amount of food we received! There was flavor to spare! I can not say enough about the food. Now the service, well please foegive me if I am unable to fins the words. The food was a pale 3 stars in comparison to the staff! They were all egear to help each other and seemed to run like a well oiled machine. This was a great place. Even though it was a very busy Friday night, everything was wonderful. The seevice was so spectacular, that they made us feel like we were thw only ones there. Our glasses were never empty longer than a couple of minutes! As we road our bike down, over an hour one way, in the heat, we were thirsty. If you are looking for an impressive date night place, look no farther. Take advantage of the it door seating. You will not be...

The highly awaited review you’ve been looking for! I went to this restaurant and was BLOWN away. My pallet was demolished by the lovely warm caressing flavors of cilantro and cheese and chicken. They coated my tacos like a delightful Christmas gift waiting to be unwrapped! (With the smell of coffee wafting into your nostrils and mom waiting to greet you, with waffles and ham, and sunshine that pours into the room.) But seriously give this place a try, the tacos are great and you know i know you know that I love Chips and Salsa. The Salsa here was great! Perfect amount of cilantro! There are some typos in this review I’m too enthralled by the flavors I just experienced.
