Trattoria Campioni — Restaurant in Ponce

After having experienced the food at the original Campioni Pizza & Birra (which has always been excellent) in Ponce we were looking forward to the same quality at this place but unfortunately it was not to be for our party of four. We ordered breaded Calamari as an appetizer, two pizzas, a lasagna and spaghetti bolognes. The calamari was gummy and acidic ( maybe that was a sign of what was to come). The topping on the pizzas (a Margherita and a Veggie) was ok but the pie was super dry and had no crust. The lasagna was just cheese and meat sauce with only a top layer of pasta and the spaghetti had no flavor and little tomato in the sauce. We don't mind paying more for a fine dining experience but today this did not meet our expectations. So been there done that. I think next time we'll visit the original...

This place is absolutely gorgeous! From the moment you walk in, the service is outstanding, making you feel welcomed right away. I’m totally obsessed with the bread they serve as a starter, it's always so fresh and delicious. I've been here several times, and each visit has been fantastic. Among my favorites are the beef carpaccio, the octopus, and the pastas, whether it's the one with mushrooms, goat cheese, or meat, they never disappoint! I can’t quite remember all the dish names, but everything I've tried has been amazing. The same goes for the desserts and drinks; everything has been top-notch. Fantastic Dining Experience at Trattoria Campioni ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We recently celebrated my son’s 24th birthday at Trattoria Campioni in Ponce, PR, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The warm and inviting atmosphere paired perfectly with the delicious Italian wood oven pizzas—truly some of the best I’ve had!

Our waiter, Jonathan, was exceptional. He provided attentive, friendly service and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. To top it all off, the owner, Carlos Noel, personally came to our table to greet us, which added a lovely, personal touch to our evening.
