We ate there everyday we were on vacation, twice a day. Food was delicious, portions were huge. Service is outstanding, and the pricing was well below what you'd see anywhere else. Always, busy but very fast. I believe the longest we may have waited for our food was 10-15 minutes. We couldn't believe ever meal came with a cup of soup. Every dinner came with soup/salad, 2 sides and dessert and most for under $10. We had the all you can eat walleye on friday night, again, soup/salad, 2 sides and dessert with our all you can eat walleye for under $9. And it was delicious. We loved the ribeye sandwich, which was enough for 2 people, again, came with cup of soup and potato for under $10. For the 2 of us, our check was around $22 for every meal. You cannot eat anywhere and be stuffed with leftovers for that. If ever in Pontiac, IL again this is definitely where we'll eat. I'd recommend this Restaurant to everyone. Wish there was one...
Read moreOur server- Helen (if that’s her correct name)- was not good at all. The bill was rung up incorrectly and even though she took our order, she couldn’t remember who got what when the food was ready. When refilling drinks, three of us had water and two sprites, she started to fill up my sprite with water. The food was cold and unappetizing. My stomach hurt before I even finished one chicken tender. Each of our meals came with dessert, but all the server told us they had was cake. We knew they had pudding and ice cream but it was like pulling teeth to get her to tell us the flavors. It’s like the server didn’t want to be at work today, particularly when she tossed the receipt on the table and walked away. We used to really like this place, but the serve has gone lower than low and the food immediately unsettles...
Read moreThis restaurant has very good food & my server was friendly & helpful. The prices of the appetizers were a bit high for the amount of food I was given. You're only given one free refill on the soft drinks, which I thought was ridiculous. I order iced tea which is nothing more than water run over tea leaves; most restaurants also fill the cup with ice so you get even less beverage. The desserts seemed, to me, to be about a quarter of the size they should have been. The complimentary bread basket was good & came with real butter instead of that fake vegetable oil spread nonsense. Their idea of a tossed salad is a little plate of lettuce with 2 cucumber slices & a chunk of tomato- not worth $3.50. All in all I liked this restaurant above any others I've been...
