El Mexicano Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Pontiac

The food was inedible. The queso was completely botched and overheated to the point it curdled and they still sent it. It's impossible not to realize this just looking at it, the whey sloshes like water. See picture.

The enchiladas were the wrong type, and the meat, pork I think, was full of giant chunks of bone.

The rice and beans were edible, not good, but edible. The rest of my $30 order literally got tossed out for the animals to eat.

If the food were just gross I wouldn't bother posting a review, but sending out that quest knowing it was ruined and inedible is just flat out...

The staff here are incredibly kind and welcoming, which I really appreciated. However, the food fell short for me. Fairly new spot. The atmosphere is nice. Love the set up. The server was pretty nice and attentive to details requests. Love food if delicious as it's authentically pleasing. I have no complaints.
