Lucas’ Coney Island — Restaurant in Auburn Hills

I just came from the doctor up in Ypsilanti so I stop by Lucas Coney Island and order a number one to coneys and fries and I made the fries chili cheese fries so the drink that comes with the combination was my choice of lemonade. I took the lemonade back inside to let them know it smelled like mold it had an odor, replaced with a sprite because Hi c was at the bottom of the tank as well . Paid 14.89 for combo I purchased one hot dog for my dog, and one hot dog for me. I could not believe Fido was not eating his hotdog I was eating my chili fries I took my coney out to eat it and look at the photo it was disgusting went back to tell waitress whom I did tip and she stated the manager/owner said it was nothing wrong with the lemonade and I could not get a refund for my Coney Island because the owner had just left as well as management. When your dog won’t eat it !! Don’t you eat it !! I’m just saying! You might want to consider your health eating here . Customer service hmmm offer no replacement or refund Attention do not patronize places like this they do t appreciate there customers...

I want to start this off by saying that this is by far some of the best Coney food that I have had—and I have been to my fair share of Coney places.

I ended up at this particular Lucas location because I was in town for a wedding, and in my opinion there isn't much better (food wise) after a long night of consuming adult beverages than a good old Coney Island breakfast. We searched for the closest place to where we were staying and this is what popped up. I will say that I was expecting it to be a whole lot busier because of it being a Sunday morning. Lucky for us, we got in at the perfect time and found a seat right away. When you walk in you will see that it's a bit fancier than your average Coney Island eatery. It's very clean, and the staff is very friendly and inviting.

Beyond that, service here is beyond quick and accurate. It couldn't have been more than five minutes from the time we ordered to when our table was full of food. The food was hot , delicious and exactly what we were looking for. This will be my go to Coney spot when I am in this area...

A lot of my coworkers rave about Lucas so I needed to go here. I have only been here twice so far, but my experience has been great. The waitresses are friendly and the food is awesome! The first time, I had the Greek salad because one of my coworkers got it and it looked really good. It was probably one of the best Greek salads I have had! The next time I got the yeros combo. Definitely the best yero I ever had! The meat was moist and flavorful and the tzaziki sauce was awesome! Both times I opted for the bean soup and it was delicious! Plus, Lucas is a 5 min walk from the Tech center I work at! I wish I lived in the area because I would definitely eat here more! I keep telling my wife she needs to meet me here for dinner.
