Cuginis in Pools Bills: More Than Just Games - Seriously Good Food! Don't let the name fool you – while Cuginis in Pools Bills (Travilah, MD) likely offers a fun atmosphere with games, the real star of the show is the food. We recently checked it out and were seriously impressed, especially with a few key items. First off, the wings are a must-try. They were perfectly cooked – crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside – and the sauce selection was fantastic. We tried the [mention a specific sauce if you have one, otherwise use a general positive descriptor like "classic Buffalo" or "garlic parmesan"] and they were packed with flavor without being overwhelmingly [spicy/sweet/etc.]. Definitely a contender for some of the best wings in the area. Moving on to the subs, Cuginis doesn't skimp on the fillings. We ordered the [mention a specific sub if you have one, otherwise use a general example like "Italian cold cut" or "cheesesteak"] and it was a hearty and satisfying meal. The bread was fresh, the ingredients tasted high-quality, and the overall construction of the sub was excellent – no soggy bottoms here! And finally, the pizza. The user mentioned it was "solid," and I have to agree. While maybe not the most groundbreaking pizza you'll ever have, it's definitely a reliable and delicious option. The crust had a good balance of chewiness and crispiness, the sauce was flavorful, and the toppings were generous. It's the kind of pizza that hits the spot every time – perfect for sharing with friends while you're racking up the balls. Overall: Cuginis in Pools Bills is a great spot for a casual night out. You can likely enjoy some games and drinks, but don't underestimate the quality of their food. The wings and subs are definitely highlights, and you can count on a solid and satisfying pizza. If you're in the poolesville area and looking for good eats in a relaxed environment, Cuginis is worth checking out. We'll...
Read moreAfter a good experience of their delivered pizzas at an event, we thought it would be a good idea to take my elderly parents from Europe to Cuginis. After waking in we were not greeted at all, so I went to the register and asked if we should seat ourselves. The young lady at the counter said "yes". After waiting at our table for over 10 minutes, feeling somewhat ignored, I went to the young lady again and asked if there was a waitress/waiter of if I needed to order with her. Only then I was told to order there. She only had one (partial) printed menu flyer which I took to the table. We ordered the pizza and a salad and some drinks which were brought to the table after a wait. The pizzas were not at all what I remembered from the previous event, as they were somewhat undercooked. The term "restaurant" is very loosely used as it does have tables and the food is served to them, but that is pretty much the extent of it. At best, this is take out with an option to eat your ordered...
Read moreI am revising my review because the weekend bartenders are so nice . It really makes a difference so the best that can be said is it depends when you come. If it's on the weekend when the bartender Maria here this is five stars .
this could be a four or five star bar but for the somewhat hostile attitude of of the bartenders. (To be fair not all of them but the main guy for sure and some others on occasion.) It's truly odd that if you ask for a beer recommendation you get sneered at or ask for your check and are left wondering if they heard you. This does not happen at other bars. It's kind of an in-club mentality and overt rudeness seems to be tolerated. It's too bad because it has a solid beer selection and some very good bar food. But a lot of people are not going there for this very reason. If you want truly welcoming, friendly service, better happy hour specials, and a far livelier bar scene you may want to head down the street...
