We stop here for cold drinks, clean air conditioned bathrooms, and (occasional) live music during each of our beach visits to Port A. Drinks and food are pricey but this bar is connected to the beach/golf resort so that's not a surprise. We had some really great oysters and a poke bowl to snack on along with some shots and pina coladas. A refreshing snack and drink choice.

Highly recommend Reds for lunch or dinner. They have a great outdoor area with comfortable chairs and tables. Our waitress, Heather, was only two weeks in, but she was the highlight of the lunch. Very friendly and incredibly helpful. We had the seafood platter, poke bowl, crab cakes, shrimp scampi, and burgers. Everything was fantastic and came out quick.

Our go-to in Port Aransas. Great bar, lovely patio, amazing food and dog friendly. What more do you need at the beach? Get the shrimp & grits

I have been debating leaving a review because I just want to forget this happened, but I think I need to because I am still so incredibly upset over this establishment. I have also tried to reach out to management multiple times with no response. I rented a section of Reds and paid for 30 people to drink a batched drink from 6:30-9pm for my engagement party and birthday. I’ll start by saying majority of people did not arrive until a little after 7pm. We also had a few extra people around 37-40 but these extra people had their own bar tab and my father had his own tab for more people so we would not go over out 30 people bar limit. Around 8:15 someone informed me the bar had cut them off and management told me they counted 37 people. They did not speak to us about this or take into consideration people who there who don’t drink or ask us for a list of everyone on the tab. We paid per perosn per hour, considering most people didn’t show up until 7pm and a lot of people informed me they only had one drink I feel robbed. Obviously we were upset by this and management was unreasonable so they called the police. My sister also brought a piñata for my birthday that was filled with minis that we put to the side and no one opened or drank these. The establishment then used this (outside alcohol) to kick out the entire party early after we paid a rental fee until 9pm. Majority of our friends drove in from other cities and flew in from different states and to have police kick everyone out was devastating. Overall Reds ruined my engagement party and birthday and their management/staff are some of the worst I’ve ever met. I could not believe this place could be so cruel and completely unreasonable. While they still might believe otherwise, there were no more than 30 people drinking the batched drink and we ABSOLUTELY did not get our moneys worth. If you ever consider having your event here I...

Major disappointment! We have been here since they opened and it was a major let down last week. For starters they put off the vibe that they do not want business. We were told the barstools at this bar establishment are put up in storage? Mind you it is the second week in June and there is no vacany on the entire coast. They wanna charge the same high price for cocktails but don't want ya to sit anywhere. My group tried to order Margs, and were told no they couln't make that. Then the request for a Mojito was made, again, "no, we would have to go to kitchen to get mint we can't make that either". Then we ordered tacos, lunches etc. when the food arrived the baskets were slid across the table not served and plastic wear thrown in the middle of the table. I was hosting a party of 7, what a huge embarrassing disappointment to treat them to. I agree with the previous review this place could be the best in Port A, . But now don't waste your time and money. Stop playing the Covid Card and read the local Port A newspaper. The most affluent customers from Houston, Austin, and San Antonio are coming in droves. It's time to double down have a sign on bonus, hire great staff and most importantly train them! REBUILD IT, AND...

I asked the bar tender to make me a special drink after the first one stunk! When I got my bill, the second drink was $20. I have never paid $20 for a drink on vacation ever! It would have been nice had she told me the cost would be $20.

My hubs and I ordered fish and chips for dinner. It was equivalent to a kids fish sticks with a few fries. Cost was $16. They were terrible.

We’ve been coming to Reds for 4 years, it’s always one of our fav vacation hangouts. This will be the last year we go there. It was very disappointing to be billed that kind of money, for food that was awful and a drink that cost $20!

Bye Reds! We will no longer make you our special vaca spot when visiting...
