Roaches! The manager is so toxic and rude, she's always yelling at employees who are doing the best they can under abusive circumstances. I literally watched someone tip the staff $20 because of this when I picked up a to-go order. How can they possibly have a good mood to greet customers in these conditions?? Almost all the reviews mentioning rude employees can likely be attributed to management decimating the team's morale. Truly, think about it. I'm passionate about food service and giving exceptional customer service (even when a boss is taking out their anger on me), and I would be wholly unable to smile in that scenario. Back end issues should never be THIS apparent to customers. It's not the responsibility of low-wage employees to cover for management and just do better at hiding it. People paid so poorly should be given a great boss and great opportunity to find gratitide in a good place to work. It's not the teams fault whatsoever for being depressed in such a situation and just trying to get through the day with less yelling. That lady is not managing, that's going on a tirade; throwing an immature tantrum in the place of actual interpersonal skills and problem-solving. Made me stop coming in because I've heard that the turnover rate stays high because the owners have refused to fire her for YEARS. She needs to grow up, and the owner needs to summon the courage to finally replace her. Whatever you're paying management, it's too much for her to...

I usually visit this Tim Hortons in Port Huron very often, and one of the highlights of my visit is the friendly staff who always offer a small pup cup or dog treat for my dog when i ask. It’s a simple but thoughtful gesture that makes my day while I enjoy my coffee. I am new to Tim horton and thought pup cup is a thing like other franchises.
However, today was a disappointing experience. A young girl staff member told me that Tim Hortons doesn’t give out pup cups and that they’re not supposed to. I completely understand if that’s the policy, but what bothered me was her attitude—no courtesy, no friendly explanation, and not even a simple “thank you” in response when I said, “no worries.”
Great customer service is about how you communicate, not just what you say. She could have kindly informed me of the policy while still maintaining a welcoming attitude. Instead, her dismissiveness made me feel uncomfortable, and I won’t feel at ease ordering when she’s there.
That said, the coffee is good, and all the other staff members have always been professional and friendly. I just hope this location maintains the great service I’ve come...
Read moreIf you have allergies, make sure to watch Tim Hortons in Port Huron. Two on shift, the woman took my order - ice capp almond milk no whip. I always let them know it's an allergy and I always watch them make it. She said no problem, shes making it.
I understand and am not bothered if they accidenty grab whole milk or whipped cream, but fix the mistake if they do get the order wrong. This happens a lot (anywhere). I know sometimes they are just busy.
She put whipped cream on, no big deal I reminded her about the severe allergy, asked for a new one. She literally wiped the whipped cream off, rinsed the outside of the cap and gave it back. Acted like she didn't just do this when I called her out on it. Then, admits to it and said "well you just said you were allergic to dairy, you didn't mention the whipped cream!" The man working with her had no problem with remaking it, mentioned to her that he did hear that. He brought a new one to our car and she flipped us off at the door.
She's real classy, but I am thankful for his...
