Fajita is super salty. My husband enjoyed it. Beans and rice were okay. I ordered tortilla soup that I could not eat. Flavor was not good cold Pico de gallo and what looked to be actual lettuce not cilantro was put into Luke warm soup making it cold soup. With very very salty (maybe Fritos) as tortilla strips. Bones, skin , and tendons left on chicken in soup was very offputting. I give 3 stars because they did not charge me for the soup I didn’t eat and I appreciate that. They were pretty busy but the waitress never returned after our food was served. We had to walk to the counter to request check to pay. Maybe she noticed I set my plate aside and wasn’t happy with my food so she avoided us. Not sure but it seemed like all tables around us were tended to great.

I had never actually sat down and ate inside, but have had take out many times before this. I was blown away by the attentive staff and knowledgeable bartender. I believe our waiter's name was Adrian, and when I return, I believe I'll ask to be set in his section again. I actually said beforehand, yeah, they may have a full bar, but I know there's no one there who will know how to make anything I drink. Boy, was I WRONG! The chicken flautas were great, I tried the quesadillas off my partner's plate, and they were really good, as well. Recommend. Especially if you'd like something in addition to the regular Mexican food places around town.

We've been there three times while staying in PL. The only reason we've gone there is because the little restaurant next door is often closed. I do like that they have a drive thru but there is definitely a wait. The food isn't great we have had way better Mexican food and at way better prices. The service is horrible, the staff is not friendly. I ordered a tostada and by the time we got home the tostada itself was so soggy no crunch at all, and the amount of toppings they put on it was pitiful there was hardly anything on it. The burrito wasn't great either, the food was a mess.

It used to be my favorite place to eat. Clean, great service and excellent food. Last several times have not been so good. The quality of the food is not consistent sometimes wonderful sometimes cold and tasteless. The service has been the biggest problem. The last three times we have been there the restaurant has been about 1/4 full and at least 3 waitresses who have been busy coming and going to tables of construction workers while passing by family and couples tables several times before taking orders or checking back with table. We have had to get up and go chase a waitress down more then once. Tonight we were met with chips and menus, we ordered and got our drinks, and then we waited....and waited...there was 3 waitresses, 1 table of about 10 in a family, a booth of three people, a booth of two, a booth of three guys and us, two adults and a child, 21 people total. We waited 32 minutes after being brought drinks and still no waitress came to take our order, bring chips or check on us. A table of 4 young men came in and sat in the section we were in. A waitress came in, sat them, brought drinks menus and took drink orders and then brought their drinks and never even looked towards us. No other waitress even ventured our way. WE CALLED the restaurant from table 7 to phone in our order and they wouldn't answer the phone! We got a thank you come back on our way out and they didn't even notice that we didn't stop to pay. At that point I turned and said, we won't be and thanks for what? We are the table you didn't wait on. Our grandson showed me the nasty face the waitress made at me on the day out. See we have 8 kids and 24 grandkids and when Dr are altogether we can fill the entire place. We have brought in big tables many times and we have brought them in at least 2-3 times a month and just us eaten there almost weekly. So it is seriously some money you allowed to walk out with poor service. No wonder La Antigua is so packed...

We sat around for over an hour waiting for our food to show up. They were not really that busy. But, we cut them some slack for it being a smaller town and we were enjoying each others' company. I ordered a burrito that just basically had sauteed vegetables and that was it. The server said that it would not be an issue and I was willing to pay full price for the steak burrito since they would work with me. When my burrito finally came out, it was nothing but steak. Shortly after that, my wife's enchiladas came out and they were cold and very disappointing looking. We ended up not touching our food and decided to leave right...
