AstroKat Kava — Restaurant in Port Orange

Had an "astro-nomical" experience at this kava bar! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, love the funky cat pictures everywhere. The staff, especially Josh, was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain the different types of kava and their effects, which made me feel comfortable trying something new.

The kava itself was smooth, fresh, and prepared perfectly — I could feel the calming, chill vibes setting in after just a couple of shells. It’s the perfect place to unwind after work, meet new people, or just relax and reset.

The bar is very chill their tea is where it’s at. It doesn’t even need flavoring. (first time I’ve had that happen as a frequent tea drinker) For a bar that officially opens tomorrow it is already very well established into the community and everyone that comes is super cool very highly suggest anyone new to kava and tea to give it a shot and anyone who is apart of the community will love Josh and the crew as well as all of the things they serve. My wife and I were on a date and stopped to try out this new spot. We love kava bars and the kava community and this is everything you would expect from a great kava bar. We felt welcomed and there is a great vibe. There is a good selection of seating inside and also they have outside seating in the back which is a great feature. There is a good selection of drinks to choose from. Josh and his staff provide a great atmosphere to spend some time to hang out and have a good time. Definitely going back...
