I was recommended to try this place. It’s in a strip store front. very charming inside. we were greeted. We were greeted one of the servers , Told we could sit anywhere we wanted. Megan was our server who was very helpful with the menu, and trust me we asked to many questions. My friends earlier knew the owner’s mom who makes all the pastry from scratch every mor. Her name is Carmela and she is just the sweetest Italian woman you’ve ever met. She even sent a pie pizza over to us on the house which we told her wasn’t necessary, but she insisted she could not have been more warm and friendly and so generous. . so with that being said we certainly did not need any appetizers. The pizza was cooked. Perfectly crust is very thin, nice and crispy. Lots of cheese fresh mozzarella, The garlic knot s are so big, garlicy, I could of just ate them with a bowl of the fresh marinara sauce and I would’ve been happy but anyway I ordered the calzone with meatballs inside which came with ricotta cheese that was so creamy and thin slices of meatballs, , my friend ordered the white sauce with clams and linguine that was cooked perfectly. The clams were nice size and not chewy at all. I kept dunking the garlic knot in her sauce. My other girlfriend ordered the shrimp scampi, which also was full of flavor, not two garlic, but just enough big huge servings . We were so full you could’ve rolled us out of there. of course we had to try the hot apple pie dish, that’s not the correct name of it , Trust me you’ve got to get it. Let me tell you it was the best crust I’ve ever had in my life, the whole dish had such a unique flavor like I don’t know how to describe it, but I’m not a crust person and I couldn’t stop eating the whole darn thing. I just want to think Carletta for having such a beautiful family and for being so generous with us. I also have tried her cheesecake that is got the citrus flavor to it. You have to go there and try it. I can’t even describe it, but everything was like you were in Italy eaten dinner. Megan went beyond putting up with us asking 1000 questions ordering this getting stuff to go. We drove her insane she had patience of a saint so thank you Megan. A big shout out to you and I forgot the what’s his name the I think his name is Marcus the bartender he is so handsome so sweet patient with us also and the whole restaurant is somehow related in the family. I’ve never seen anything like it, but everyone could not have been more kind if that’s even a word as we were leaving Michael, the owner was walking and he went out of his way to make sure we all had a fun delicious mealso all I can say is give this place a try you’ll thank me, oh I also forgot we had shrimp bisque soup. so yummy. We all took a bowl...
Read moreWe absolutely love this amazing family owned restaurant. The owners are so kind and personable. You will be wowed by the atmosphere and then when you see what everyone is ordering, it will be difficult to choose. Our first visit we had pizza, knots and salad. All fresh, large portions and the ingredients are outstanding. Tonight we decided to try the knotwhich (meatball) and wedge salad. We shared both and still took to-go boxes. The meatballs are definitely the best ever. The Jersey truffle fries are 10 out of 10. We've had truffle fries at a few different establishments that offer them, these fries would win a contest if there was one. Iceberg wedge salad, bright green crispy cold lettuce, delicious gorgonzola, bacon, red onions, grape tomatoes tomatoes topped with onion straws. I think I will get this everytime since I am a salad girl or I will try the other salads, maybe. 😄 I was very impressed with the beverage selections, they carry my Russian River Valley Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay, among other premium wines. We saw beer and full bar also. We were told that the owner's grandmother comes in in the mornings to make the desserts from scratch. We were too full to try on this visit but we will be sampling all of them eventually. We sat at the pizza bar and watched Chris toss the dough and make many dozens of pizzas while we watched. He came out to speak to us. He is an amazing, kind asset to this fantastic Italian restaurant. Marcus, our server, was attentive and friendly. We enjoyed him as well. We look forward to being regular diners and trying everything on the menu. The restaurant was packed and the crowd was happy. We saw the tables turnover quickly but no one seemed rushed. Casual, upscale Italian bistro. Bravo, you guys! Well done! Several visits since our first. The quality of service, food and atmosphere is...
Read moreDO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS RESTAURANT! This is the worst food I've ever gotten in my LIFE! We were really looking forward to this restaurant to open and were horribly disappointed to say the least. All of the dishes we ordered were burnt and inedible. We had to throw away $77 worth of food, which is terrible. I've NEVER thrown away food despite how it may have tasted. I immediately contacted the manager Anita (which is probably an owner or relative of the owner). She was not helpful or caring at all. There was no, "I'm so sorry, how can we make this right?" We ordered Calamari, Margherita Pizza and Eggplant Parmesan. In the description of the Eggplant Parm, it said "Big Plate". What a joke! It was the smallest portion of food I've ever gotten out for a whopping $25! No salad, soup or rolls! I've been ordering food out for years and it always came with sides...especially at that inflated price. That too was burnt. The Calamari was the most disgusting of all. It was so overcooked, you couldn't even chew it. I ordered "Crispy" which does not translate to BURNT in any way. Even after sending Anita pictures of the food and all the food in the trash, she did not issue a refund. Goes without saying, we will never spend our hard earned money on this garbage again! We'll stick...
