Gave this location another chance but sadly, it's still the worst choice of Starbucks in town. I've tried this location next to Olive/65 multiple times in last 10 years; most recently Aug 2024. The parking lot is nearly impossibly to negotiate to actually park. It's ok (for large truck) if you are driving straight to drive thru at the far end.
But my main complaint is the lackluster lacking-flavor coffee drinks! If you don't actually like to taste coffee in your coffee drink, you might like it here. The (ever popular but lacking imagination) hot caramel machiatto was my tired brain's choice for the morning.
However, I mourned the apparent coffee shortage as my longed-for boost of caffeine goodness turned out to be a hot cup of watery almond milk and finally a bit of syrup flavoring that I savored when the cup was almost to it's last few swallows. Maybe they forgot to add the coffee?... again. Perhaps I should've paid even more to add a shot of espresso?
Or maybe I'll just go to one of the other locations in town next time as I've done in the past because this store location proves that it continues to be the worst in the area.
Re: customer service here = usually neither friendly nor rude, but around... "I'll help you but I'd rather chat with other coworkers standing around or look at my phone."
Oh well. At least the main street Starbucks has yet to serve me a "blah" cup and can be depended upon for Starbucks usual rich full flavor of whatever strikes my fancy that day!
If you have read this fast & haven't gotten the gist yet, NO I DO NOT RECOMMEND this consistently below-par Starbucks store. I suspect it only stays in business because of its convenience to the highway and one of the 2 major streets in Porterville.

Yesterday I ordered at 7:15 so that I could get breakfast and coffee before work. I received a text 5 minutes later saying my order was ready. When I went at 7:15, my coffee was there, but no egg bites. I was there waiting for them until 7:45. I finally had to leave for work, and they would not give me a refund.
