Crazy For Pizza — Restaurant in Portland

Solid late night pizza. Toppings and sauce on point, plus a little surprise ranch which they’ve added basil or something to and it SLAPS! The dough was a little bit chewy, I’d guess from being made earlier in the day and the gluten developing more strongly. So, for a lighter crust you may want to order this pizza earlier in the day. All around solid pie, do recommend, will eat again.

January 2023 update: I've had pizza from CFP several more times since my initial review, and I'm bumping the rating up to 5 stars. That's not to say there are no flaws here, but it's a local business making good pizza and I don't think their (as of this review) 3.8 rating does them justice. Toppings and sauce and dips are A++ - very very good. Crust still needs a bit of work, particularly late at night it's still pretty chewy. Earlier in the day it's more crispy and light, so order accordingly. The slushies are a win and a loss, because they're very reminiscent of the super artificial 90s icees you'd get at an arcade or a movie theater - if you know this and want a little nostalgia, get one. Overall, I still highly recommend Crazy For Pizza and I would say you should eat here instead of Hut/Dominoz/PadreJohns whenever you get the chance. This is a special little piece...

My husband and I just ordered an 18in Cheese Pizza (with Garlic Tomato Sauce) from Crazy For Pizza for our 1st time yesterday evening (Order #a3cf1028). By the time our pizza arrived, it was unacceptably COLD!!! It was so cold that it felt like we were eating leftover pizza that was just taken out of a refrigerator. It did taste like yummy leftovers but its not what we were expecting at all. We never ordered a pizza from anywhere in 30+ years that arrived this cold as the one we ordered from Crazy For Pizza yesterday evening. If the pizza was hot (like it should of been)... we could tell it would of been totally awesome! We will not be placing anymore orders in the future for delivery. If we do order from Crazy For Pizza ever again we will gladly go pick it up in person as we do not want cold leftover pizza again. Stopped in around midnight on the way home from the arcade. Counter man either wasnt having a good night, or was sketched out by me maybe? (Black hat, black shirt, black hoodie, jeans, and all black AF1'S) Because he was a bit short with me. Again it was midnight lol. Ordered a small regular pepperoni, soda, and cookie for $25.(yeah that much) Pizza was wonderful though and i consider myself a pizza connoisseur, crust is the halfway chewy halfway crispy type, hand tossed. Decent amount of pepperoni, nothing that can be described as generous though. I would like to see a few more pieces if I'm honest. Soda was great, nice and bubbly. Cookie was the shizznit frfr 😋 They have all the topings you would expect from a joint like this. Solid 7.5-8 out of 10. Would recommend to friends and family.
