A gem of a place. Classic 100-year-old farm stand that's oddly (but thankfully) persisted virtually unchanged as the city has grown around it. Super friendly folks. Generally cheaper than grocery stores for produce, and a thorough selection of the basics. Plus, it has a few other classic farm stand goodies (pie, cheese, honey, eggs, etc.).

Read moreIt's great having this sweet little farm stand down the street. Besides great, seasonal produce they carry a few staples like eggs and dairy. My favorite thing these days is that it's open to the fresh air in front, seems safer these days. Staff (who are lovely) and customers have been respectful of personal space. So stop here first, then go to Sheridan's or another locally owned store for anything you need they didn't have.
