Golden Dynasty — Restaurant in Portland

This was my first experience with Golden Dynasty and thankfully my last. My friend had reccomend this place to me and I called to ask for an order of (2) family dinner B's. I showed up and the lady came out with our food. I paid and as we got home to unwrap our food we noticed that the portions in some of the containers were uneven. Quickly realizing that we were only given (1) of the (2) orders I had called and a different lady had answered and said that my food was correct and that our portions were just doubled. I had to repeat myself several times saying that our food isnt as she claims and that we would like the rest of what I paid for. The lady on the phone said aggressively "well bring the food back then." I said "okay we can do that" and as soon as I finished my sentence she had hung up on me. I had 2 more questions but wasnt able to ask. I felt like I kept a level head the entire conversation but the lady on the phone wasnt in the mood. I ended up not going, saving myself another trip and having to deal with someone who didnt want to work with me in the first place. Unaware of who this lady was- I wouldn't suggest going back here. If you have any problems with this place they will not...

This is a fun spot to grab some quick dinner & gamble. They have a nice bar with half moon booth love seating that faces the bartop. There are several big screens with sports playing.

Off the bar is another room with video poker, and seating in the middle of the room. It's super comfortable and inviting. The only thing I will mention is it can get pretty busy at times, with minimal seating available in both the main part of the bar, as well as the video poker room, but they also have another large sized dining room with booth & table seating.

I've always enjoyed my dinner here. The service is good (although there is usually only one one bartender for the entire bar area which can get sometimes too busy for just one person). If I've ever waited to order, or cash a ticket it's only been 5-10 minutes while the bar staff is clearly busy, so no biggie.

It's a nice place to stop while in the Portland area. Not far from the I- 205 South...

First time there. Price is 5 star. People and staff 5 star food 3 star portion size 5 star.. The reason is tast. Plain fried rice was super soft and no flavor all most wet to moist we like ares a little on the firm or chewy side. Szechuan chicken was good but was looking for a little more heat and was cook like it was poached in the sauce so gave the texture a mushy filling the onion was fresh. Sesame seed chicken was batter dipped no sauce. The batter was not think watch is nice but tasted like any other Chinese food batter. The flavor was lacking. You could see the sesame seeds and taste them but was very lite faint even. We plan on coming back and trying out different dishes and the bar. Came back food is really only 2 star. But the bar is 5 star for price,people, service and the happy hour. I do recommend the mar far chicken...
