Your experience would depend on the barista of course. I've been here twice now and while I really appreciate the vegan food and drinks, it is overpriced. You pay 1.50 to add bacon to your sandwich and you seriously get 1 single slice of bacon. As well, they made my drink super sweet so I got some drip to blend out the over sweet taste and the barista scolded me..? I guess if you're from here this is normal, but it isn't good hospitality in all actuality. Why do some businesses struggle so much to provide a comfortable environment? Read moreThe overall review hurts because I really wanted to like this place. It's within walking distance, the coffee is very good, and the seating is fine. Service is fine. But the entire time I was there, the music was just too loud. Again, it's a matter of taste but if I want to read or work on the laptop, I don't want to compete with percussive, fast, off beat rock music which is what was played here. I envied the other patrons who had laptops and had the good sense to bring in noise canceling headphones. $4 a cup with one free refill (entirely reasonable). Vegan, which I like.
