Lakeside Bar and Grill is a wonderful restaurant located inside the Radisson Hotel Portland Airport, and it sits along a beautiful little lake with wildlife to view as you enjoy a great meal.
Lakeside Bar and Grill front desk open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have a full menu with regular specials. Last evening, we enjoyed a full Cesar Salad, Salmon Chowder, Mushroom Burger, and Marrinated Steak Tips. And, a couple drinks.
The service was professional and polite, our meals were wonderful, and the lakeside views were amazing.
Additionally, the Lakeside Bar and Grill offers outdoor seating in warm weather, and you can enjoy strolling along the lake before or after your meal.
The Lakeside Bar and Grill offers a full service bar; you can order a beverage of choice, appetizers, meals, and deserts. You can also order food to go.
The Radisson Hotel Portland Airport offers parking in a paid lot; all you need to do is take your parking ticket to the front desk with your receipt from the Lakeside Bar and Grill and staff will validate your parking for no cost.
Update 02/07/2024 - Another wonderful breakfast at the Lakeside Bar and Grill! They have a wonderful Buffet Breakfast option or you can order from the menu. Today I ordered the Cheddar and Bacon Omelet and it was prepared to perfection!
You can order Room Service directly to your room!
Do yourself a favor and plan a visit to the Lakeside Bar and Grill; you will not be disappointed!

Read moreWell, the food is outstanding at the Radisson Lakeside Bar & Grill! However, it was a Thu night & two people were running the restaurant that had just opened. They looked like blonde clones or twins. One was a very pretty female & the other a blonde haired dressed & looked exactly the same Ken doll looking male. I am a retired Navy Chief with Multiple Sclerosis & a small service dog. I had already eaten in the restaurant numerous times with my boy sitting quietly right next to me on the bench. I was waiting for my takeout food. The blonde haired cloned kid comes over to the table we were sitting at. He rudely said to me "You need to get that dog out of here. This is a classy place!" I told him it was a service dog & we had no problem eating there numerous times. He told me to get him on the floor. We stood up, got the food, paid & left. After 20 years of naval service, I have forgotten more about class, respect or too many things in this world than that kid will ever learn. I was very very insulted & just left without incident because I was checking out the next day & would never be back anyway. As I said, the food is nothing short of awesome. They were the best pork tacos I've ever had! However, they definitely need a Manager who keeps their employees pleasant & respectful to match the great food served in an outstanding restaurant with...
Read moreTheir food was always pretty good, but they have really upgraded things of late. The food has great presentation that matches the flavor, and they have something for everyone, from quick, easy, and inexpensive to the more robust steaks and higher-end options.
There's a reason the seared Ahi tuna has been around for a while, the tri-tip steak could pass for something a good bit more expensive, and the fried chicken dinner is something else in a very good way. I wouldn't normally see a fried chicken dinner and order it, but after sampling the chicken off a friend's plate the other night, I would go back for it.
One of my go-to options on any menu is the Brussels sprouts, and I love Lakeside's. I find that a lot of places add stuff to sweeten them up. At Lakeside, they're perfectly grilled, and the chef lets the flavor of the sprouts speak for themselves.
Out behind the restaurant and hotel is what looks like a pond, and I see a lot of reviews here complaining that it doesn't look like a lake. In reality, it's part of the Columbia River Slough, part of a complex ecosystem, and if you are at Lakeside at the right time, you can see some of the diverse wildlife that call the Columbia Slough home.
I look forward to my next time dining...
