I used to frequent this location but haven't been in a few months. I went last night with some friends and had an awful experience. The service was very slow. It was slightly busy but it's a small place and there were 3 servers so there was no excuse. They forgot my friends goma salad. They took a long time to bring out the edamame. Then I ordered a goma roll with no tenkasu and add cream cheese which she read back to me. When they brought it out, there was tenkasu and no cream cheese. I politely notified them and they seemed reluctant to fix it. When they finally started to take the wrong roll away, I asked if they were just going to throw it away which they said yes. I said that I didn't want to be wasteful since there are so many hungry people and that someone at our table would eat it. They didn't seem to understand and didn't want to leave it at the table. They finally did but not without scoffing. Our service the rest of the evening was unfriendly. I think they thought I was trying to get a free roll. When they brought the new and improved roll out, the cream cheese was practically non existent. The sushi rice in all the rolls we got had absolutely no flavor. Extremely disappointed and upset about being wrongfully judged and that the food was bland. Will be going to the new Sushi One...

Very good food but every time I get a Philadelphia roll they do not put any cream cheese in it, not a little, just none. This has been an issue over the years, consistently every time I order they don't get it right, both take out and dine in. One of the main reasons why I ordered it was for the cream cheese, it's vital to this roll.

I used to be a regular, but once I had mentioned it I became the cream cheese guy, oh look here comes the guy who wants the right ingredients in his roll. I didn't want to be but now ever time I show up they ensure I really want extra cream cheese, I don't, I just wanted it in the roll it should be in. Ordered again today and guess what, not a single bit of cream cheese in my rolls, tired of trying over the years for them to...

What a night and day difference from the Hawthorne location!

I went here because my gf said she got sushi here and I was shocked, because my impression of Mio was not good based on the other location. But trust is important in a relationship, so I decided to give it a shot.

I couldn't believe how good the sushi was. It rivaled my favorite place to go, and it's a better price point.

Service was great, and the waiter was attentive and friendly.

I looked around and there were no boxes sitting on the floor. This seems like a really weird thing to say unless you've been to the Hawthorne location, which is cluttered. Clearly the staff here care more.

Highly recommended if you're in this area. Get the salmon ngiri and the...

Every Mio I've dined at has been delicious. This review is for the vegans and vegetarians out there! They have a nice list of vegan qualified rolls. My fave is the inari roll (it is SO good). They have some vegan and vegetarian qualifying appetizers too. Thankful this spot is so close to home and that I can still enjoy sushi without the fish. (Pictured is the super veggie roll and the inari roll).

Pretty sorry excuse for sushi. Rolls were falling apart, and in the spicy white tuna roll, the seaweed wasn’t rolled up, it was just unceremoniously dumped on top of the rolls, making it soggy and quick to fall apart. Would give it one star, but this was my first order from them, their other menu items might be better, I just don’t know.

Our go-to local spot. Wonderful lunch experience. Filling without being expensive, even when ordering sake. Service is always friendly and fast. I highly recommend the spicy chirashi bowl and the sushi and sashimi combo.
