I had a horrible experience. I rarely ever write poor google reviews, but today is the day. The food and atmosphere of the place was fine, but my waitress was unbelievably rude.
I was dining with a friend of mine who happens to have a speech impediment that can make him difficult to understand sometimes. When it was his turn to order, our waitress interrupted him multiple times, turned toward me and kept asking, "What is he saying?" And also had the nerve to walk away, saying that she is "too busy, figure it out and she'll come back". My friend and I were appalled at how she responded to him.
When she finally came back after about twenty minutes later, she looks dead at me and completely ignores him, saying, "What does he want?" as though we were talking about a small child. I helped him order, and she bolts off. My friend speaks up saying, "I know what I want" and she just walks past him, completely ignoring him. Another twenty minutes go by and she brings out our food. I could hear her walking around to other tables saying things like, "This is ridiculous" and I even heard another customer saying, "sorry" to which she didn't even respond.
When I asked for a box and check she interrupted me and walked away. I was livid at this point. She came back and said, "I'll get to it when I can, I have to give out drinks first." she clearly made a point that we were less important than everybody else. So she kept us waiting for about twenty more minutes. We didn't even get any refills a single time we were there. The majority of my time at Fred's was either waiting or dealing with a stranger's rudeness.
I do not know how this woman still has a job working with the public. I always tip, but today was the day that I didn't. She has no respect for the disabled, only impatience. She made us both extremely uncomfortable, and my friend felt terrible.
I have her name, but I'm not going to put her on full blast for every stranger in the world to see. My friend and I do not plan to return here because of the way we were...
Read moreHad an order messed up months ago and portsmouth store said they would give credit, ok great. Called back a while after and mentioned to get it replaced and was told I had to claim credit within a day or two. I've no interest in ordering Fred's two nights in a row for credit. We avoided ordering from there for a looong time because of this.
Finally decided to give them another chance last night. Order was messed up. No big deal I'll just call, right? When I spoke to a manager I couldn't finish my sentence(which was a common theme of this conversation) before he started asking if I ordered it wrong in an accusatory way. Then he went on to tell me that if they replace there better not be half of the sandwich gone or they won't replace it. I was made to feel like a scumbag because they messed up our order. Eventually after being interrupted over and over I raised my voice and he hung up on me. I called back and asked when I could speak with an owner and tried to explain the previous experience and he said he didn't want to hear about that, while taking over me. Very rarely have I seen customer service so bad. Lesson learned. I should have never cheated on Giovanni with Fred....
Read moreThere deep dish is not a true deep dish. Nothing more than a thick crust. They need to look up deep dish. Also had a BBQ chicken and bacon,. It is a shame to say the Domino's Pizza is better tasting and has more sauce than this pizza did. I wasted $50 for dinner and was very disappointed. Will not be going back I'll stick with Domino's at least I know I'm getting cheap enough Pizza The taste much better and as for that deep dish when you ask him how thick it is and the waitress tells you one thing and what comes out is totally disappointing. And when you tell him that you don't want to pay that they tell you they'll take it off but then all they do is change the price to a original crust which is the same as their deep dish what a joke truly unhappy. The only best experience was a waitress super nice. But she has no choice of what she does when management tells...
