Only took out 2 slices of cake. History of delicious desserts but since being on fixed income don't eat out as often and. The Pandemic doesn't make it any easier. Felt uneasy as I wasn't allowed to stand at least 6ft away from the enclosed cakes to choose which one I wanted. You would like to see what you are buying within a reasonable distance. I had to choose from almost near the front door as the waitress was insistent. People have to remember to treat customers like they want to be treated. Even while maintaining Covid standards. Their food is not the best. I've eaten there years ago and did not have a great experience. However, lately I've noticed in passing... they seem to be a bit more crowded. So, I decided to try their food one more time... actually 2x. Thinking maybe it has improved. The food has not -as a matter of fact it's a bit more lackluster. The Mayo in the coleslaw tastes like it is spoiled and rancid. Another family member of mine eats there on a regular basis. However, he has identified over time what to eat (one meal). I was craving seafood, I saw Captain D's on the map and saw this place pop up too, I needed to check it out. I'm glad I did, the lot full so I knew this place had to be good. I am not from the area so, "When in Rome, do as the Romans do". Great seafood, I went in and asked the gentleman behind the counter what is popular and was advised a platter, a young lady behind me also advised a crab roll. My order was made quickly but still gave me enough time to carry a friendly conversation with others waiting for their food too.
