Papa D’s — Restaurant in Post

Was stopping for lunch inn the McD drive thru when I saw this place. Told my husband to do what he wanted, but I jumped out of the car and went to Papa D's! Amazing decor even in the Bathroom! Took the ice cream to go, to catch up with my husband, still in line. Had a Greatcchat with the counter gal!! Ate the ice cream at least a half hour later (from the cooler) and all was still firm! All flavors were Fantastic! I never heard of "cream, flavor but the gal was right, it was Great! That and the other original formulas I got and can't remember names. Fantastic!!! We were on a motorcycle ride and decided to stop in Post for some lunch. We came across Papa D’s. The look on the outside of the building is so fun and makes you want to see what they have going on inside! And we were not disappointed!! The inside was just as amazing as the outside. The ice cream is delicious! My favorite to get when we go somewhere is the watermelon and they have so many other flavors that I cannot wait to come back and try them all! The ladies inside were so sweet and very happy they did a great job!! Will definitely recommend this to anyone who is passing through...

An awesome little ice cream shop located in downtown Post, Tx. They have a long list of items on their menu such as regular ice creams along with special unique flavors and keto friendly flavors, Italian ice, speciality hot coffees, fountain drinks, homemade cheese cakes and desserts and they just added a baked potatoe and salad bar along with some homemade soups. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the interior of the place is super cool with movie/song nostalgia! If you're in Post, stop and check it out, you will not be...
