Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Poteet

I really appreciate the ability to give an honest review. I visited this Dairy Queen and I was so moved by the difference. Infact I really wasn't hungry but i was invited by a friend it didn't take long for me to notice. The manager had an active role to make sure the business was running properly. This staff was friendly the eating area was cleaned. The waitress even came by asked if we needed anything. The food (chicken and fries) we're super hot. As a customer walked out after eating in she stopped the manager and shared her appreciation for this particular Dairy Queen experience. I am not being paid for this review. I went in the store to order. It took 15 minutes to get my number one order. But the drive thru was taken care of very quickly. This place is one of the biggest jokes. The management, and the owners need to really look at this place. This is not the first time I have been in this store and received lousy service. It's a shame because there is really is nothing else in Poteet for a quick run in and grab something. Maybe they are more focused on their other stores thinking that because it is the only place in Poteet they can give you garbage service. Never going back. I will drive 15 minutes because that is what I am going to...

My husband and I have been coming here for about a year. Being the only fast food in Poteet there’s an importance of being good. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case for several months. My husband finally said enough and that he wouldn’t go anymore. Food was always really bad. Tasted like it was cooked hours ago and sat under the lamp forever. We were hungry one night and didn’t want to cook about a month ago. To our pleasant surprise they had a new manager, Barbara. She has made a huge and great improvement to this location. I truly hope she stays here and continues building this location up....
