Streamside Family Restaurant & Pizzeria — Restaurant in Potter Township

There has been one cheesesteak to which I have compared all others over the last 30 years. And the crux is always the bread. If the roll isn't made and baked on premises, you can't be top tier.

Streamside has taken the mantle of best cheesesteak I've ever eaten. A crown it's predecessor wore for 30 years but no longer.

The bread is pillowy yet dense. The perfect blend of soft and firm. It is the pinnacle of rolls for subs. It truly is magnificent.

Generous portions all around but let's move to the small stromboli. It's anything but small. And again the dough shines for all the reasons stated above. They aren't skimpy with the filling, especially the all important cheese. And it's a delectable mozzarella.

My wife got the grilled chicken salad and we were delighted to discover they keep the meat separate so the salad doesn't steam in the container. Every other restaurant take note. THIS is how it should be. Delicious flavor and she loved it all.

Finally, the pizza. Again, the dough makes or breaks a pizza and yet again it stands out as wonderful. I personally would prefer the sauce to be a tad sweeter or at least a little less tart, but it's very good regardless.

Quality ingredients, perfect preparation, reasonable prices.

We stumbled upon this little treasure on our way through and it did not fail us!! It is our new favorite place to be honest, and we will have zero issues driving an hour one way to enjoy their food again! We arrived about 20 min before they were technically open, so we let the kids stretch their legs when a nice woman opened the door and told us to come on in. They know how to serve young kids too, they all received crayons and coloring pages and kids cup with straws. Multiple kids menu options, and she took their order first to get them going. For adults, the specialty pizza choices made you want to order 2-3 pies alone! I got a small house salad and it was a meal in itself, coming with their homemade bread (best ever btw) and it was a good blend of lettuce instead of all iceburg. We were offered a sample of the specialty soup and it was that delicious that we bought some to bring home. Everything was super clean, our waitress was very friendly and patient with us and our kids. It was a wonderful...

Update: last night we ordered a chicken Philly cheese steak and a cheeseburger hoagie. Wow. Just wow! We both agreed that it was the best subs we've had in a bit! The bread was perfectly soft, the chicken on mine was shredded so everything mixed well together. Just so, so pleased!

And, I couldn't finish mine, so I jeated the last few bites up in the microwave and it was still nearly as delicious!!

Side note - we had take out, so they even sat a few minutes until dinner. So impressed!

Previous : Streamside is absolutely amazing. Every thing I have ordered has been delicious - even as left overs! Portion sizes are huge, especially for the price.

The servers are prompt and attentive. They checked in with us several times as we waited for our food, and made sure we were good once the food arrived.
