Mike's Brick Oven Pizza — Restaurant in Pottstown

We ordered from this place because of their interesting wing sauces and gourmet pizza options. For starters, the food in general is overpriced. We got their 12 piece general tsos wings, they were tasty but they didn't really taste like general tsos. Also I guess they ran out of wings because we got 9 wings and 3 boneless chicken "wings". I know they were probably trying to not inconvenience me and just subbed the nuggets instead but the wings are more expensive and thus I overpaid for something I didn't get. The pizza was good, it's a nice size. But 27-29 dollars for a pizza is a bit steep. Not to mention I had selected to add onions to the pizza, and there's a 2 dollar upcharge for additional toppings... I didn't receive those onions on the pizza. The staff should take better care to make sure orders are made properly. And for those wondering about the pierogies - they're nothing special. They taste fine but they aren't worth the 9.50 you spend, you only get 6 pierogies and they aren't anything you can't make yourself. Go to the grocery store and buy Mrs. T's brand pierogies. Taste the same and better value. While everything tasted good, between the pricing, the sketchy location and the lack of attention to detail I can't give this place any higher than a 3. I'm not sure we'll order...

I'm gonna be honest, this would've been a 5 star review. I ordered the Fish and Chips. I was TOLD it's better than Doc's or Union Jack's. The problem is, I don't know that I got the full experience. They didn't send tartar sauce. A tiny thing yes, but have you ever eaten fried fish dry? Kinda killed the experience. They did send these really good little pickles. I could've chopped those up in some mayo I guess. At the end of the day though, I don't want this seen as a complaint, as the fish was better dry than most I've had with an accoutrement. Yes, I said accoutrement. Yes, I said it on purpose to tick you off. But I digress. With sauce, I'd totally have gone 5 stars. And I will now buy a bottle just in case.

Obviously some of this was (meant) to be funny. The sauce is not a huge deal. It's more of a "customers can be jerks anyway so don't give them more of a reason." I will definitely order again.

Oh! And PS! They give you a VAT of Cole slaw. Like, I think my HOA may fine me for having it sit outside for a bit. Excellent Cole Slaw though so this chubby boy ate...

My husband purchased fundraiser tickets from someone at work. I love a business that supports the community! I’ll be honest, we had never heard of Mike’s Brick Oven Pizza… we only ordered from there because of the fundraising tickets. The person who answered was lovely to speak with. Personable.. listened to the order - (6) items… repeated it back to me as requested. I read the reviews about the orders being messed up & yes, I was worried. My husband picked the order up. They weren’t too thrilled about us using only fundraising tickets for the food but we paid for them too so what’s the difference?! He brought the food home - we live 45 minutes away. Hoagies & pizza were PERFECT! Like PERFECT. Those of you who wrote bad reviews need to try again because the pizza was the best that I have ever had.
