Overall- we will be back. We went on a Sunday afternoon. We had a very quiet (pretty much sullen) young teen girl as our server. She barely spoke and didn't check on us. I had to flag her down for a drink refill. They also forgot one of the meals for our table so that was 10-15 minutes after everyone else's. We tried Street Tacos with Asada- delicious and well seasoned. Beef enchiladas with green sauce- beans and rice were a little bland but that's ok for my kids. Meat was pretty good and they had onions inside which we liked. Chicken enchiladas with green sauce- this meat was seasoned even better. Chicken and cheese enchilada- the meat was very well seasoned and cooked. My only complaint- it came with nothing else. No sauce, no veggies. But it was large. My kids found the chopped cabbage on top of their enchiladas... Different. I agree it's kind of an unusual choice. I think next time we would omit that. Because the food was pretty good, we will be back, and hopefully have better luck with whatever servers are on duty. It was clean and serviceable inside as well. They do not have a kids menu but I heard them offer another table to make a half portion of an entree. There's not a ton of choices overall but there was enough. Edited to add: the salsa has a lot of cumin. That's the "overwhelming" flavor some other reviewers mentioned. I personally like cumin a lot. To me the salsa is very similar to El Tapitio. Some heat but not too much, thin, lots of cumin. The chips were kind of thick though. It was like they were a wheat/corn mixture, and the texture was more like a baked chip than...

We waited 1 hour and 30 minutes for food that must’ve been personally walked in from Guadalajara. In that time, you would think maybe a refill of water or chips would be warranted. Not at Amigos, they be no Amigo of mine.
When the food finally arrived, it was like the menu had played a prank on us. What was on the menu and my plate seemed to be distant cousins.
To really set the mood, the building was hot enough to cook its own fajitas. Everyone at the table had sweaty butts—we were marinated more than the food.
There is a silver lining to every situation, this one is difficult but it is there, we didn’t do our dishes and there was no temptation to over eat.
I wouldn’t recommend it to a friend and I would encourage fasting if it was the last...
Read moreBeing the travler I am i have had food from a lot of different places. This is by far close to the bottom of my list on places to eat. Food was sub par menu is exactly what it says so if you order a enchilada u get an enchilada even though you are still paying the meal price you get charged 3.50 for rice. Didn't get the beans so don't know price for that although I did get extra 1 charge for wanting ground beef and it was 6 for carne asada. FYI to the manager... reviews are for people to let others know about service and quality doesn't look good on a manager to be telling someone well if u didn't tell us or you didnt just leave immediately then your just wanting attention kinda childish in my opinion I'm sure others would...
