We've always struggled coming here because we never know what kind of service we'll get but I love the food. Last night we came in and it wasn't super crazy busy but also not slow. We ordered appetizers and they came out fast enough but then we were left with no napkins, silverware, or ranch that we'd asked for. We were left for probably 15 minutes without. I finally got up and grabbed plates for us from the cart and my mom eventually went and grabbed a stack of napkins. We ended up eating wings and fried pickles without ranch. When she finally came back she brought one thing of ranch for a table of 8 but it didn't matter anyway since most of the appetizers were gone. My mom's salad came out before her dinner and she wasn't able to eat it because there was still no silverware. The food came out and everything but one salad was correct. He'd asked for grilled chicken and got breaded but whatever. We did also finally get silverware (I would understand if it was the end of a very busy night and no one had any time to roll any but we showed up at 6pm on a Wednesday.) I can't imagine if we'd been difficult table with different drink orders and lots of changes to orders but we all had waters and didnt need anything extra and majority of the night our waters were empty. None of the plates were ever taken from the table either (pre-bussing) so we had a pretty good pile by the time we were done. We've had other similar situations in the past but this was by far the very worst. It was embarrassing bringing my uncle and cousin here visiting from Virginia and having this kind of service. Next time we'll go to 310 where the service has always been phenomenal as well as the food. I was a waitress all through my college years and it's so disappointing to see that they don't train like they used too in a lot of...
Read moreI've dined here once before and was not impressed but decided we should give it a second try. I work in the hospitality industry so I understand sometimes there is just an off day, so we decided we would celebrate Valentine's here. They never informed us that there was going to be set 5 course menu that you choose from 3 options for each course...so I was already a little annoyed. I chose the mussels which I loved they were fantastic! Second course was soup or salad 3 salad options and one soup. I decided on the side salad which seemed to be topped with canned diced tomatoes and I was unimpressed. Next was the entree options, they were shrimp stuffed ravioli, bacon wrapped pork or a I believe 14 oz ribeye. I don't eat pork and am allergic to cheese so I went with the ribeye medium rare (it came at an additional $10 on top of the already $40 cost) with green beans and mashed potatoes. I gave my potatoes to my husband who enjoyed them in exchange for his green beans. Unfortunately the green beans weren't cooked and were hard and not very good. My steak wasn't my favorite and I only had a few bites. Dessert options was a gluten free lava cake or a hamburger dessert which sounded amazing but once again couldn't eat due to my allergy so I was left with the option of a poached pear. The pear came in full pear shape so I was little intrigued sadly it wasn't ripe or cooked making it inedible. We came with a party of four and all of us walked away feeling rather disappointed. It took us 2 hours to go through all 5 courses which to me seemed rather lengthy especially being they weren't very busy. We won't be...

And we were THOSE people, unintentionally. We showed up 15min before the kitchen closed (not knowing there was or expecting there to be a kitchen) and 45min before the brewery itself closed. I can't lie, we've been crazy road-tripping it & we were, again, excited when they mentioned food. I'm not sure if the kitchen staff were as excited as us, but they didn't let on that we were putting them out, even with such a late order. We did try to be accommodating- I went so far as to say "give me anything you need to get rid of." Of course, the barkeep had already taken our orders by that point & I guess that was that. Chicken fried steak for me & a brisket wrap for the hubs - we could have (& probably should have) split either & would have had plenty to eat. We both took food with us to the hotel & we had leftovers for breakfast (2-fer). The food came up fast & the flavors were good. I appreciated the non-traditional take on the chicken fried steak. No country gravy here... she ate like schnitzel which went well with the beer!
Speaking of, on to the reason for stopping, beer. Sage Creek IPA 3.75 Mountain Wheat IPA 4 Sand Coulee Red 4.25 Heart Mountain Hefe 3.75
Service couldn't be better. I can't stress enough how much I appreciate not being made to feel like I shouldn't be there- even being encouraged to enjoy both the food & beer, despite the late...
