Cove Café — Restaurant in Prescott

So sorry to report that this visit was really disappointing. We arrived, I went to the counter, the woman behind the counter was chatting with a young man who had apparently been sitting there for awhile. She looked over at me and went back to chatting. Another woman was visiting with a group that were standing about middle of the café. She looked at me and went back to her conversation. I took a seat. 5 minutes or so passed, the group left and she returned to the counter. I went up and asked for 2 coffees to go, she got them and said "that'll be $8. I said "OK, but I thought the menu said $6?" She responded by saying "oh, that's right, $6." The coffee was great, we like it there and sat to enjoy our coffees. The atmosphere is charming....just not sure what warranted the lack of customer service and indifference. One of the best places for an espresso drink in Prescott. Baristas were kind and attentive and doing their best but it might be time a third working on Saturday mornings. Word of advice- if you walk in and there’s only two people in line don’t assume it won’t take a long time to receive your drinks. We ordered two drinks and waited forty minutes to receive them. If the wait is that long then I might advise customers of this when they order so they can make an informed decision on whether to stay or not (hence the four stars). Visited...

I'm so excited for a coffee shop/food/hangout spot in this area!! I love the atmosphere, totally fun and very warm, with lots of comfy seating, natural light, lots of plants and a little outdoor patio in the back too!

But its not just the decor that's got a great vibe- it's the people. Super friendly, and clearly having fun. I think this is going to be a great spot to hang out over a cup of coffee, a snack, a cocktail/mocktail, a board game or whatever!
