Chopsticks House — Restaurant in Preston

We live in the Logan area and stop here whenever we’re in the area. We haven’t been here in a while and it looks like they went through an owner/management change recently.

1. Food: All 3 dishes were lack in flavor, took half an hour from ordering. We loved the food from the previous owners, so we were very disappointed. We will not be coming back.
2. Service: The waitress must be new, barely knew the menu items and answer our questions with “I think so.” There were no silverware settings at the table so we asked for them plus extra plates, but she never brought them. We ended up taking the silverware settings from another table so we can eat before the food got cold. When she brought our check, she didn’t mention or apologize for forgetting them.
3. Atmosphere: It was nice & bright with new paint and furniture. The place was busy, a handful of tables occupied already. But there were a few tables that were not cleaned after the customers left. We took one of the two clean booth...

I read the reviews before going to the restaurant. . . so I feel compelled to add a few comments. When we walked in, we took a seat at an empty table. Soon thereafter a waitress (Amari) came to our table, offered to get us drinks and when she returned soon after, took our order. I noted she was busy yet attentive the entire time we were there. The chicken was good, perhaps a bit overcooked, but certainly within a sphere of personal preference. The price could be better - however, I hope if the community supports the restaurant, they may feel comfortable bring the price down, or have "specials" to fit within a more family friendly budget. We certainly need more variety on the menu in Preston, therefore I hope this restaurant is successful and receives positive feedback and encouragement. Welcome to Preston, and best wishes,...

I was excited to have a Chinese restaurant in town again, however, I will not be back. The food was decent but nothing special. We waited for our food for 30 minutes after ordering, and our waitress was not around so I asked another waitress if she could see how much longer it would be. She got it right out to us after that. Our waitress did not return to our table after taking our order. I saw her clearing tables and such, but she never refilled our drinks, asked us how we were, or offered any help whatsoever. I had to go up to the front to ask for a to-go box and it was then that she told me we could just pay at the front when we were finished. The room was also very warm, which was unpleasant for this time of year. It just seemed very unorganized, and the staff definitely need more training in customer care...
