KFC — Restaurant in Prestonsburg

Place is great, great service. Not too fast, but only because they want to make sure everything is right. Even though, mistakes do happen. I mean they're only human. But when something does happen they always are eager to help resolve, just as long as you're kind with them. None of my friends, family or many co-workers or business partners ever have issues with Prestonsburg KFC. The chicken is awesome. Far better than the other KFC in the surrounding cities. Great crew, friendly managers. They recently got a remodel and it's abstract and gorgeous. They are relatively busy during lunch and dinner hours. Their cooks are great too, they're always curious as long as you are. And they honestly try their best. The friers are kept clean...

With four cars in front of mine it literally took twenty minutes to get my food. I requested original but got crispy chicken. So forecasting food during peak hours isn’t KFCs thing? As I eat my food the chicken is warm at best. The staff were excruciatingly slow, I don’t blame them but 110% blame the management and owners. During these times (covid) fast food establishments should be hitting on all cylinders! Why you may ask, they don’t have customers in the lobby, they don’t have to clean, restock, clean. Ordered 8 piece chicken strips with mashed potoates and mac and cheese. They get the sides wrong and give me cole slaw instead of the mac and cheese. Lucikly I catch the mistake before I leave the drive though, and tell them they got the sides wrong. I told them I ordered mac and cheese and not cole slaw. I hand the food back and they said they would fix it. I (stupidly) assumed they could actually get something as simple as swaping the cole slaw, and left without checking it a 2nd time. When i get home I have the mac and cheese... and the cole slaw. They swapped out the mashed potaotes. I honestly feel like it was intentional. On top of that, the food wasn't even warm....
