El Rodeo Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Princeton

Manager is very rude. Arrived at 9:15 with closing hour listed at 10. At 9:40 I tried to order a drink and was told they were closed. Was done eating at 9:45 and waited on ticket. Server no where to be found and manager comes out and tells me I needed to leave and they closed at 930 I apologized and said I was waiting on my ticket. He said it was upfront. I tried to show him where it said they closed at 10 and he said well it's now 10 and you need to leave. Went up front and no one had my ticket and server was MIA still. Guy at the counter had to go get a menu to look up the price of what I ordered. He looked very young and uncomfortable due to the manager muttering what I can only assume to be profanity a million miles per hour under his breath in Spanish.

If you want good service out of a Mexican place in Princeton go to guacamole's. Always excellent service and great food. This is where I would have went if they had not closed at 9. The only reason I went to El rodeo was because they closed at 10...or so I thought. Los Aztecos closed at 930 or I would have went there. Only chose El rodeo due to closing at 10 as I didn't want to hit up a place minutes before close. Needless to say there are 3 Mexican places in town so good luck to El rodeo getting business with an attitude like that. I won't be back but I am sure that they don't care.

UPDATE: I went back due to being on Easter and the fact they updated thier menu. Per menu I ordered 4 Street tacos. The menu read 1 steak, 1 chicken, 1 carnita and 1 chorizo. Got all steak. I asked about it being 4 different ones and the owner said "no, you order which type you want." I told him I didn't select a type and was just brought steak. He looked at me like I was stupid, never said a word and walked off. I had also asked about a tomatillo or Verde salsa for my chips. He said they didn't make that. The salsa they brought for my street tacos was a Verde they called Diablo. Lesson learned...stay away. There are 4 mexican restaurants in Princeton. This ranks #6 after including taco bell and taco tierra. I can not continue to tell you how bad the service is here and its all...

We arrived at 11 15 so they weren't busy. We placed our order and waited 45 minutes for our 2 meals to arrive. Food was good! Worth the wait if you are not under any time constraints. We were offered more chips twice. We didn't want to fill up on chips before our meal arrived. We didn't realize it was going to take 45 minutes! Lunch prices were a little pricey for Mexican food ($9.75). We'll go to MI Casa in Odon, IN where lunch is $2.00 cheaper for each meal and our food arrived within 15 minutes! Maybe MI Casa has...

My wife and thought we give this place another try but this is the last time.4 people in the whole place couldn't get more chips and salsa.Its like you have to beg them to get some.Nobody came to table to see if we needed anything.Waitress was on her phone all the time we were there.This problem happens every time we go there.Usually no one ask if we need a refill.Poor management and workers.
