New London Pizza - Since 1974 — Restaurant in Prospect Park

I came from Uber Eats to leave a review and unfortunately I am leaving a review to complain. I signed into my Google account to leave this review so I want you to understand that I do feel a way.

They have several buy one get one offers listed on Uber Eats. Buy two plain pizzas get one free, and buy a cheesesteak or a chicken cheesesteak platter (fries and soda included) get one free. This was the whole purpose for why I was willing to give this new place a shot as my family was split on pizza or cheesesteaks for dinner and here was the solution. When my driver arrived I was told that someone at the restaurant said it was only one cheesesteak platter and not two even though he showed the order and even the platter had issues as I asked for salt, pepper, ketchup and mayo on it, but I got steak and cheese.. that was all! The driver said they even took the extra soda (included in the platter) from him.

In the end I did put in a refund for the missing item with Uber but I wanted you to know that the main reason I took a chance ordering from your establishment was that you appeared to have a good deal at the moment and I would have supported today after this if it were a good experience. In town visiting family and found New London Pizza when looking for lunch options today. Everything about my experience was exceptional.

Online ordering was intuitive and very user friendly. The quoted time for pickup was spot on. Customer service upon walking in was straight to the point with no wait.

I ordered a small white pizza with tomato and ricotta cooked extra well light. It was as ordered and delicious.

My wife ordered the Italian grinder and raved about it. Naturally, I had to taste it. I can see why she raved about it. It was very tasty.

Our granddaughter ordered chicken nuggets. Like most children her age, she's a chicken nugget connoisseur. 🤣

She said they were the best!

As a business owner myself, i know many small business - especially restaurants - have a high failure rate. It's easy to see how New London Pizza has not just survived, but thrived with loyal customers for almost 50 years.

Great Grinder style Cheesesteaks. Great Wings, although I wished they had "naked" wings. I prefer nothing on them except salt. One of the best "Greek style" pizzas introduced many a friend to it. I'm a south philly guy that works in many a local and takes a lot of day trips so I don't give this recommendation and some really petty critiques on here. Many of them seem like you were at fault, not the establishment, places get super busy from time to time.
