Wanted an actual Stromboli but got another calzone "wanna be fake!"

Typical of restaurants that don't know the difference between the two.

A calzone is a (flipped) folded over pizza.

A Stromboli is a rolled and folded over pizza of multiple layers of meats and chesses into multiple thin layers of dough.

If a restaurant says the only difference between the two is "ricotta cheese"..then just run away..fast Seriously, run away as quickly as you can.

They aren't giving you a Stromboli. Rather, you're getting the lazy calzone wanna be.

You might be better off making your own as most of delco "fast fodder places:" don't recognize the difference .

I've been raised as 3rd generation and know the difference between the two. Just wish we had a place to trust to order on from, and this place blew that chance. 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Choose tonight's dinner's wisely as I wasted my dollar on this misrepresentation that i held hope for and was let down! They lost that and so much more from tonight.

My advice is to learn the plates's advice and expectations. Pivot, move on or make it at home.

Establishment's need to loose baised on their response as I didn't get any decent response to my point. That is their fault, so bye!

People were nice, store was clean. I got the Tuesday $10 pizza special with extra sauce, no upcharge.

I don't know what's missing from the pizza sauce, but it has no flavour. I can't taste tomatoes, I can't taste garlic, salt, pepper, oregano, basil, or anything you might find in a normal pizza sauce. Maybe it's just been washed out and overpowered by vegetable oil. I don't know, but this pizza is extremely bland.

Legitimately, Lunchables has more flavour than this pizza.

I was already upset that Mama Mia's closed down, because they had the best wings in the area besides Not Just Wings.

...but this place, god. I can't even say it's BAD pizza. It's not disgusting in any way, it's not burnt, it's not sandpapered to death with cornmeal, it's not full of bubbles, and it's a good size pizza...but somehow, there's no flavour to be found.

Please guys, if you read this, add some spices...

Ordered on phone for pickup last Friday. They told me 25 minutes, got there in 25 minutes and waited inside another 25 minutes. Parking sucks, and not enough workers for a Friday night. They are not organized, no communication, workers were just putting orders on top of the oven, not calling out any names or nothing. My order was probably sitting on top of the oven the whole time. The pizza steak I ordered for myself tasted good but not enough meat, more cheese than meat. They should ask you if you want the roll toasted, they just toast it anyway. My wife didn't like the taste of the buffalo chicken cheese steak, even though there was plenty of meat. The fries tasted good but very small size. Will not be ordering from...
