My wife and I stopped at Rosie's on the way home from fishing at Muddy Run. (I had passed by several times, but never stopped.) We were greeted by our server Felicia, who was wiping down booths. We just missed the lunch specials, (11:00-2:00) but plan on going back for them. I ordered a medium cheese steak and added mushrooms. My wife ordered a medium Italian sub and added mayo. We decided to split an order of cheesesteak fries minus the cheddar cheese. Felicia brought our food to our table, hot and as ordered. Felicia was also attentive to when our drinks needed refilled. My cheesesteak was delicious and the cheesesteak fries were awesome. The fries are meant to be shared, but we still brought some home. My wife said her sub was the best she has had in a long time and she only managed to eat half, along with some fries. Rosie's was very clean throughout and had a little village with a train that little kids can operate. (See pic) Felicia told us they have live music some Friday nights and they also offer outdoor seating. Guney is the owner and I don't usually mention them, however he did check on us and made sure our needs were being met. Guney also doesn't charge his servers fees for tips on credit cards, something I've learned a lot of owners do. That is the reason I tip cash.

don’t get me wrong i never had a bad experience with rosie’s pizza till today. i go to give my sister her tea ,and leave mine on the table she tells me that my drink looks like it’s lower then hers. I go to open it and there was no seal and it was indeed half way drank out of. i call the place and ask to talk to the manager. i get on the phone with him tell him my situation he tells me that it is impossible that could have happened (well i didn’t know drinks come without a seal and half way drank). he tells me that he can get the same boy that delivered my stuff to go over to turkey hill and get me 2 more teas. They came back with a seal and not drank out of this time. So we go to eat our food. My sister got spaghetti and she’s half way through it and see something in it…. it was a leaf. i don’t know if all the spaghetti’s come with a leaf in it or what but we basically wasted our money and time when we could have gotten something else that doesn't have leafs in it and isn’t half way drank out of.

Great hole in the wall eatery, which you can miss if you're not paying attention on the road, as it sits alone far back from the road. I was traveling through the area, suddenly got hungry and happened to see it. It's a cute small little pizza shop with a nice size outdoor patio for dining in during the summer months. I ordered a southwest chicken salad to go. The salad was large with generous portions of chicken and chipotle sauce, which was tasty n had a good kick. Chicken was a little dry bit not alot. Salad was fresh. Really good price for the size of the salad. Salad came with two rolls, which were soft and delicious! The team who took my order were friendly and happy to chat while waiting for the food. The ambience was unique inside with a train set (pictured), fish tank, and arcade game. Would definitely go back if I'm in the area.

I've ordered from Rosies countless number of times. Their service is decent and the food I have no issue with. I ran into 2 issues after countless orders with them and both of them left me with a bad taste in my mouth.

1st off I ordered delivery when they opened for the day on a Saturday afternoon a few months ago. The driver showed up with no change. The total was $23.XX and I wag going to be generous and leave $30, but I only had 2 $20 bills on me. When the driver arrived I asked "Do you have a $10?" He had no money on him at all. The driver apologized profusely but took the money and I was only offered 10% off my next order, which was a $12 order. I was given a $1.20 credit after being ripped off of $10. This is simply unacceptable.

2nd off I ordered last night on the 22nd of April. It was an order that included a stuffed meat lovers pizza. A stuffed cheese steak pizza arrived and when I called they told me it was swapped with a customer who had called in. They arrived to pick up the cheese steak pizza which I had no laid a finger on. They delivered that and came back 30 minutes later with my stuffed meat lovers. It arrived with one piece clearly handled by another customer (which I threw away for safety purposes), one of the dipping sauces missing, and ice cold. If I wanted a frozen pizza I'd go to the supermarket and save the money ($20) it costs for this pizza alone before delivery and tip. On top of this, the original order was placed around just before 5:30. I had an event to be at by 8 and by the time I got the ice cold pizza it was 6:45. I could not wait the standard 40 minutes to an hour for them to make another pizza so I had 2 slices ice cold and left to get to the event I was going to on time. I called them this morning the 23rd and they took my information but offered nothing in terms of what the next course of action is. :/

Overall, the food is good and the people are nice but the delivery service is slow and when they make a mistake they offer very little to satisfy you. I'm very unlucky that they're the only pizzeria that delivers to my address because if that's not the case for you, I'd recommend looking at another pizzeria.

Update: They called back and offered 20% off. A decent offer given...

I just order 165.00 worth of food from this place as it is our last night at yogi campground after a week and we do not feel like cooking and we also have 9 people with us. Well first off i ordered 2 pizzas, a sub, a couple of Italian dinners and some wings. I get a call when I’m on my way to pick up the food to tell me that their pizza oven is broke tonight and they wouldn’t be able to make my pizzas until tomorrow. Ok we will wait to eat and I’ll get the pizzas tomorrow, lol 🙄 then she offered to replace it with something else since i told her it was for 5 kids. She said she could do chicken tenders which cost me another 18 on top of what the pizzas are. I have owned and managed many of sub/pizza shops and when something is messed up where you can’t make someone’s order then you replace it and don’t charge them extra for it, since it’s not the customers fault that your pizza oven is broke after i places my order. Then i was told it would be 25 minutes, so ok. I continued on my way since i was about 20 minutes away and and i get there and go in to get the food, the girl at the counter said it’s not ready yet but that i could wait in my truck and she would bring it out in just a few minutes. Well i watched her walk out to her car about 15 minutes after that and leave. I wait another 20 minutes thinking it’s not done yet and then i go in and see my 3 bags of food sitting there and get my food. Get back to the camp site to eat and let me tell you!! It was nasty, everything about it. My wife is a pasta freak and loves all kinds of pasta sauce but she couldn’t even eat this. Who puts cinnamon that you can actually taste in spaghetti sauce? The fries were nasty, chicken tenders and wings were so dry and the sub was not even just ok! I definitely wouldn’t order from this place again. If i was the owner then i would refund the money and come and pick up this nasty food out...

This place is hit or miss. The first time I ate there a few years ago, right after the re-opening was actually pretty good. The pizza I ordered was good. Not great, but good - better than pizza hut/ dominos. The only thing that bothered me was the slow service. I was the only person who had an order in and it took about 25 minutes to make a small pepperoni.

The next two times I got delivery, each about a year apart. Both times were equally bad. The pizzas I ordered both times (same order of one large pepperoni, one large supreme without onions, extra cheese) were.... it's hard to describe. The crust was way overcooked - just dry and hard. They gave us a regular Supreme the first time and forgot the extra cheese the second. They tasted pretty bad. We just decided to go out and get pizza instead. Both times the delivery took about 90 minutes after I hung up.

About six months before writing this, I had delivery again, and it was much better. Almost identical to the pizza I ordered the first time. Still took over an hour to get to me (I live 7 minutes away at worst).

Recently, I went in to meet a group of friends there. This time, everything was good. Pizza was actually great. My friends enjoyed what they ordered as well. Service was accepted - 25 minutes, but they were very busy.

Personally, I would skip this place and go to Dolce Vita (which is about two miles away) or Sam's in Quarryville. The only reason I'd get Rosie's is if I REALLY don't feel like leaving my house and want pizza, because one of the only pizza places...
