California Taco Shop — Restaurant in Providence

If the order is made correctly it's amazing- fresh, & very fair prices. The side salad with lime and cilantro is delish. I have been back several times since this my review and I have to say their service needs work. When I get the food correctly it's great but lately there's been a real issue getting it correctly. I'm not sure if it's a language barrier with the person taking the orders, or when the order is given to the food prep because I make a point to speak slowly and have them repeat it back. Of the last 5 times I've been there my order was either made wrong or incomplete. Last night we waited over 30 minutes for a pick-up order that they brought out to me 4 times incorrectly, and then charged me more money when it was their habitual mistake. I asked for lime and was told it only comes free with the $1 tacos not the more expensive taco combos, in which case they charge a $1. WTH? That doesn't even make sense. I don't think I'll be going back for awhile. I'm going to look into some other taco places and hopefully find a new love...

Service was horrible. I hope the manager sees this. You guys are raising your prices for less food. You guys charged me $25 for the sampler when it used to be $20 and I usually order this all the time, and the quesadillas came with 2 pieces when it usually comes with 4 pieces. I’ve been coming here for 7 years and I never had an issue with my food. The customer service was horrible the woman was arguing with me telling me that it comes like that when it was never like this. I tried talking to the manager but the woman was yelling at me. You guys need to do better, stop the attitudes, and have a better service. I never asked for free food and my money back I wanted them to at least remake my quesadilla again as they should. Awful customer service at the providence location. Woonsocket is great. Like other commenters, I ordered at the wrong location because each google search result for location brings you to a SEPARATE WEBSITE. So I ordered from pvd and needed woonsocket. Realized when I got to the store and called to cancel and refund. I had to call FIVE TIMES to get the person on the phone to tell me the manager said it was all set. Today 4 days later the money comes out of my account. I had to spend 5 minutes on the phone speaking to a guy in broken english that I need to speak with a manager, and getting pushback the whole time. Finally transferred to a girl who tells me the manager can be called at 3pm tomorrow. Why am I doing this much legwork...
