Buona — Restaurant in Proviso Township

How can this place still be open doesn't the CEO SEE THESE COMPLAINTS, How come it hasn't improved?! it's gotten worse the food taste like day old bread , the drinks are water down & the bathroom are horrific. Seems like the manager doesn't manage nothing. I am a Big Buona Person and this is unacceptable. There's nothing being improved. The Bathrooms are nasty and unsanitary, I personally told the manager as he said he was , yet he didn't do nothing or told anyone else to do so.. From reading other comments to my self experience. It's Awful being a customer and your paying a Service yet there not following through with Quality of food and service. If the owner reads this review I hope you can open your eyes and ears . I had a doctor's appointment right up the street so I stopped at this location. One of the things I ordered was the chicken avocado protein bowl. I opened it and the avocado already had black marks on it like it was already going bad. I know avocado turn somewhat quickly but I was only 10 minutes from my mom's house. It should not have had all those black marks on it so fast. I started to eat and was crunching on something. I ignored the first crunch (there shouldn't be a crunch). I took another bite and it was more crunch/grit than the first bite. It was very gritty like. I started emptying the bowl in a plate to the side to see if I could see anything and came across what looked like dirt (muddy looking). I was totally grossed out and threw it out. When I rate fast food places 5 stars I am comparing to other like menu fast food places. Not to be confused with a 5 star restaurant (international travelers). After all, they are known for “Chicago’s Original Italian Beef”, and I would think if someone is traveling in Chicago suburbs it is a good place to try an original Italian beef. I departed this time from their specialty and chose the Honey Mustard Chicken Salad which was very good moist and crispy chicken. The dressing was tasty and plentiful. Had my 90 year old aunt with me and the staff was ultra patient with her as I read the salad menu to her and they also suggested the senior drink for only $1.00 - any drink at the drink station which is quite varied. The strawberry watermelon juice was very good. The order taker did tell us if we want to leave a tip there is a choice on the payment window - I left one since it took so long to read the menu.
