Joe's BBQ & Fish — Restaurant in Proviso Township

My order was $98 for a large turkey tip a large rib tip a large turkey link a large beef link and a 10 piece wing!! The large was missing from the order because we literally got our food in their small food containers! Turkey tips had about 8-12 pieces in it the sauce was watery I added my own bbq sauce and they were eatable the wings were so bruised and hard they were literally brown in the inside with bone marrow everywhere we threw them away the turkey hot links were ok I can’t speak on the taste of the beef stuff (we don’t eat beef my dad does) any who but my dad was upset because he got a large tip and their was barely any in the container! You mostly got fries and bread and the links came with about a couple fries at the bottom I don’t see what was worth $98 that was a waste of money!! The workers were so disgustingly unkept looking their clothes were filthy all my bags of food were dirty from the workers hands with bbq sauce and bbq char on it. There were flies flying on everything and it’s just so dirty where they prepare the food! We’ve never seen Joes like this!! We prayed heavily over that food and needles to say we will not be going back!!! Well, someone took me here to eat rib tips. They talked it up like it was the best. Once i got there they gave me a sample if jerk meat,which was too spicy and salty and the same time. We ordered large rib tips which was 11 something and came in a small paper tray, like a baby size. I look at the food like is this a kids meal, last time i check im grown. I get to the car i sample the food. Im like, this food is nothing like i thought. The sauce was watered down,it didnt have no taste to it, but it was the color of ketchup. It wasn't sweet nor spicy. I would give it 5 stars for the quality and taste of the food but my customer experience resulted in this rating for 2 stars. I'll give a good explanation why, when I called to place my order the woman on the phone was rushing me to place. I knew what I wanted to order but was unsure of the different options and the pricing. Closing the conversation I asked how much was my overall total. She told me she did not know because she did not have a calculator nearby. "I ordered the small rib tips and small fillet catfish." How the heck could you not be able to tell me what is the overall total from two items. That pissed me off!
